How can we cross the 2 mark in TRP charts ?

SM opened with 1.3 and stucked at 1.5 (According to Salil's trp). But it is not at all crossing the 2 mark. What is limiting the show and forcing it to dwindle in between 1.4 - 1.6 and how can we cross 2 in rating charts ? Lets discuss. 🥱

there are too few people to discuss🤓. The activity on this forum is seriously low. And that's a shocker because the concept, and the cast both are terrific! I'd say if the makers could give out a few promos to attract attention of viewers, that would be a big boost. Otherwise, as far as the pace goes, I think the serial's doing fine (Though if I had it my way Nandini won't have made an entrance for another 100 episodes).

I have a hypothesis, though it can be totally misplaced but preeti and KT's chemistry is lagging. It's subtle, and its there, and this goes with the mature romance but.... I don't knowww😵(like a few eyelocks would be niceee Gawwwd I soo want it, and that's totally me, becoz even without it, the stellar trio has me stuck to the show)

To top it off, Nandini and Arjun if they are here to stay, god forbid, preeti and kt have a like really looong bumpy road ahead. Something I'm not a fan off. Too many roadblocks and too much of negativity( rati sh*t) puts a damper to mood.

I have another. Hypothesis, preeti may have slapped Tarun, but she is yet to teach Rati a lesson. She is the mastermind of all the fuss, and preeti never addresses her. She is the elephant in the room , that has to be dealt with if Preeti has to show personal growth.

(Side note- it would be great if preeti would give kt a proper apology rather than that half assed sorry that came out only after KT opened his heart. I'd like to think that makers will address this, but I've got not much faith going for them)

And introducing too many new characters spoils the fun. They need to be consistent with their story and characters

And I always believe shows should be limited-episodes based, else the essence is lost somewhere in the long run. After 50-100 episodes every show starts looking the same

Agrreed. Challenges are good and all, but too much of them are not appreciated

We are already past 75, and the story has barely started😆. But yes, limiting a show's run is good else, unke bachon ke bhi bache ho jate hai, and kitchen politics hi baki reh jati hai.

Haha... that's why I said, if they already know that its limited episodes, they'll ignore the unwanted tracks. Most of the Indian shows get dragged for years.

Like you said even I want to see gradual love story between KT-Preeti☺️, but going by current track, it seems another 50 episodes away😆

Out of Nandini's 3 days, 1 is yet to pass😆, 3 din 3 hafte kheench denge. And buasa track main, when we had scenes, it passed by like a flash🤡

If trp wont rise show won't last long that's a major fear on star plus 🤦🏻‍♀️🙁

Totally agree. I believe finite series are the best. It would have been great if Indian producers and channels had understood the original meaning of new season. They think new season means same title with different story and characters, bullshit that is anthology. Anyway then i would have said SM should end on 100 episode and then come back somewhere next year in between July and August and continue with the next season but it doesnt seem to happen until a big change appears. Also adding too much characters ruins the story, i agree.

Trashing shows abruptly means abrupt and rushed ending. Hope SM will survive it.
