Not just her staff, Ekta deserves credit for launching newcomers and giving chances to failed or ignored actors.

Case in point is Sweta Basu Prasad. She rarely got movies (despite being immensely talented) maybr bcoz of a scandal she got involved in. Ekta cast her in the lead role in one of her high budget dramas Chandra Nandini.

Same with Ronit Roy who did horrible acting in Bengali movies in his early days. She completely turned his life around with Mihir Virani.

These people (ekta, gul, mamta) does a lott of hardwork in making shows for our entertainment and they suffer people's wrath/hatred just coz they didn't like a particular track. I feel really bad for them

She did rule the 2000’s to a large extent ,TV stars had a fan base and different level of popularity.
