About their equation, yes it has changed but to the extent of bani just looking at him silently and smiling which he even failed to notice because he was too occupied.🤔
For me, it is more of bani's growing affection for veeranshu that will be on test. The test is how is she going to handle this situation. How is she going to deal with veeranshu's emotional turmoil? If she can show any empathy and sensitivity for him like he does?
If yes, then we can safely assume that bani has indeed made progress. That's just my opinion.
Bani's affection will definitely be put to test. Cause as you remember Jai's reality promo, it never happened the way we were shown, so it could be possible, Bani also takes it slow with Veeranshu. She has seen how Veeranshu is with his mother, so she may not show a direct blow, but she may take it slowly unlike the promo.
So, let's see, Bani ka progress kitna hua hai woh to ek baat hai, lekin Veeranshu ka bhi turmoil hoga. Ultimately woh chunega Bani ko hi, lekin iss baar shayad thoda waqt le, and it isn't completely wrong.
I think what some of the members are under-estimating here is the impact of Shatruji aka Fake Markat on Vani's life.Isn't it too early that Veer's mom has been exposed as the real villain/vamp?
I agree with the hypothesis of @J2 lover that perhaps this fake Markat has 2 forms-1 being Jay's mother and the 2nd form Veer's mother.This could also explain why Balwant kept her captive all these years in the basement perhaps for Veer's protection.No Mother would even think of harming her own blood though Mohana in Nazar2 was an exception.Its highly probable that Veer's mother loved Veer unconditionally but got corrupted by the Markat's Powers hence she looked afraid regarding the presence of that Tamsik Shakti.
I know going by the trend it's usually the mothers who end up being the vamps here. But Sumitra and Yamini as such were never the real mothers of Ritik/Rocky and Maahir.Vaishali was a vamp too yet cared for her own son Dev.Veer wouldn't have missed his mother so much had his mother not cared/shown love for him during the childhood.His mother nursed and cared for him like any mother would naturally do for their own child.
Getting back to Markat/Shatruji I think she's playing mind games with Bani here.Jay was an Aadi-Naag who wanted the Aadi-Naagin's Powers yet he neither killed nor attacked Bani directly why? Bcoz he knows that Aadi-Naagin is way too more powerful than him hence he resorted to treachery & cheating attacking her from behind the back while maintaining a fake friendly relation with her.If Jay could realise this fact then Shatruji won't be an exception.
She's quite powerful but I believe that she would not underestimate her nemesis Bani bcoz she knows that her death is in the hands of Aadi-Naagin.Also she knows that she cannot harm Bani till Veer is there with her.
So Markat would be keen to separate the couple.Her minions Meera and Veer's mom would do the job aided by her notorious son Jay.Shatruji's agenda is to weaken Bani both mentally and emotionally so that when Shatruji would attack her Bani won't be able to defend herself then.Don't forget guys Bela inspite of being the so-called Naagrani had a hard time dealing with the Nidhok Queen Sumitra till Shivangi came to even the odds for her.
Getting back to VANI I don't think Bani demanded Veer's support impulsively.She might be stupid but she's our smart Aadi-Naagin who sometimes knows when to use her head smartly.Bani knows that Veer is her mortal enemy yet subconsciously she has been overwhelmed by Veer's unwavering support and love for her though she might not show such reactions.Veer cared for her when she was hurt by the presence of Markat's evil Powers not only that he saved her during childhood and from Shakura too. It shows that Bani instinctively has come to depend on Veer bcoz she knows that Veer would get her out of any difficult situation plus she knows that Shatruji is a powerful adversary.
Bani wants Veer to be her shield/she wants to feel saved not only from the Scavenger clan but from that Shatruji too.Bela always had confidence that her Maahirji would be there for her bcoz she saw Maahir's blind love and support for her in certain tight situations.
The promo can be misleading no doubt but it shows the level of trust Bani has on Veer now though Bani is fickle-minded.She might not say it but Bani wants Veer to fight her battles beside her. Bani wants her husband's support whole-heartedly and she wouldn't have demanded the same had she not seen Veer's blind love for her.
Part of the reason also why Bani bought her family within the Scavenger Mansion inspite of being aware of the possible dangers bcoz she feels that even if she's not there always to support/protect her family Veer would lookout for them.That's why even during that dance-drama Bani asked Meera to go to Veer bcoz she was sure of Meera's safety when it came to Veer.
I think this would not be the first time she would want his support.Bani would feel that she needs Veer's support bcoz at the EOD Cheel or No Cheel Veer is her husband and she has rights over him.If not now then she would think like this on the future considering Bani's fickle nature.
Bani now feels that Veer would always be standing rock-solid behind her protecting her and show his love/care and affection towards her.She has started feeling quite safe due to Veer.
I agree with the points about the VAni equation. This isn't about audacity, this is about Bani's rights, which Veeranshu himself has given her, and she has willingly now taken it. Bani now knows that no matter what, he will be there for her. Infact, although she doesn't agree with his thoughts about Jai, but she knows Veeranshu is concerned.
Promos are very misleading, just as Jai's revelation promo was. So I am sure that Bani would not be so direct to ask for Veeranshu's support, knowing how sensitive he has been about his mother. I somewhat agree that it could be Veeranshu's mom is corrupted by Shatruji and has imposed her power on her by physically occupying one half of her existence and dominating the other half which may have genuinely cared and loved Veeranshu and the family. But I am not sure our makers are so creative to show this. Infact, the revelation has been too quick, whereas when it comes to villains, one usually keeps it under wraps.
So, I am safely assuming that Shatruji isn't the ultimate villain in this season. She is a formidable opponent, but not the villain. Additionally, I feel Meera isn't her minion, only Jai and Shukla are. Also, yes I agree she wants to isolate Bani because Veeranshu is a shield who will himself never hurt her, and neither will he let others hurt her. So if she has taken control over Veeranshu's mother, or she is genuinely Shatruji, then using Veeranshu's emotions for his mother against Bani would serve her purpose. But, these villains have always underestimated Veeranshu's feelings for Bani and Bani's own moral compass and growing trust in Veeranshu. This fight would actually not pit them against each other, but in my opinion, put them together. It has always been VAni against the whole world.
I feel the ultimate villain is Markaat, who is yet to be revealed.

I actually have another theory. I feel Veer's mom and the fake maarkaat together complete the villain shatruji! Its like, when they will merge with each other, only then shatruji will come into exsistance! So Veer's mom is the good side and Jay's mom is the bad one. The black and white sides of her faces shows that! Now Veer's mom actually doesn't want to merge with her maybe! That is why jay's mom is behind her, to reach out to her aur apne mei samaahit krna chaahati hai sorts! Maybe, that's why Veer's mom is so scared and keeps talking about this lady with black nails who wants to harm her. She doesn't want to harm her, she wants her to submit herself! Maybe, Veer's mom is really not faking it, on the contrary she herself is trying to hide from that dark counterpart of hers. Now balwant knows this! He knew shatruji would never be able to come to its full power unless and until the two females entities merge! So, he always tried to keep one locked!
