So I made peace with the fact long ago ki agar mujhe itv show dekhni hain to I must have to compromise.. 🤣I'm almost ok until they do big blunder which effect storyline or my morals..

Ha, somewhere I was salty that they're making this serial on Bengali culture but missed most important personalities of Bengal.. Then I understand ki Kuch log hote hain jinka character portray karna asan hota hain.. Eg: Gandhiji, Rabindranath Tagore.. I'm not demeaning them.. I'm just saying ki inke upar itna sare films ya series banaya gaya hain ki reference lena easy hota hain, so potraying them on screen is easier.. But if you take Netaji, Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar for example, portraying them is not easy.. Most people can't bring that "aag", that "junoon" which they had..

To mera Man na hain ki khichdi history dikhane se achha hain ki na dikhaye.. As I said before also I can't tolerate khichdi history of them..

Itv always choose a easy root.. That's why all they know is Gandhiji..

Okay.. It's my personal opinion.. Tumlog jhagra kar rahe the.. To mujhe laga ki mujhe apni pov dena chahiye.. That's it..

People belive that Science is solid. Humanities is like gas, will disappear and remain insignificant. It is very important to sieve the content you show on the screen, one cannot be allowed to vomit out anything. It really seems unreal to watch RC mansion unaffected by the atrocities of the British role while the country was burning with fury. Even in the name of social reform, there is a lot of scope left before they jump to HM girls but now Ani has taken 'zimmedari' so whatever.

I have been reading today's edt and trust me it was more dramatic than today's episode. But non hilarious and potentially harmless jokes aside, I want to say a few things

1. To all the young Turks here who are angered by the makers blatant disregard for history of India's independence, your heart is in the right place. Your questions are valid and concerns genuine.

2. That being said, let's take a moment and try not to get sucked into the quagmire of emotions like anger, disgust, shock etc. You are right in your questioning but let's refrain from calling out on viewers intelligence and intentions.

3. Every member has an opinion and no two may be similar. Just because someone disagrees with she does not become your opponent. It's a forum of Christ's sake.

4. This is, at the end of a day, a daily soap made to.garner trp and earn some copper. Moral of.the story is Indian TV me gondogol hona sarvbsadharan hai. If we are upset over something use lets use proper channels to let the makers know it. Why fight over here, no?

I know I am a newbie with no creds but I felt that this needs to be said even at the risk of being called out by others.
