The time line is a mess. They are not focusing on keeping things sorted. And 1920s had freedom struggle full swing. In fact Gandhi himself started his fight in 1919-20. After the loses in WW1 people had actually started to doubt him and his ahimsa principles. And here, in 1918 they are showing old and FAMOUS Gandhi. I don't understand why not take up on others? The land of Bengal gave birth to many brave sons and daughters. If you see the history of Bengal, the people suffered so much... And yet BB ki janata is all about fun.
