Main bhi tapish ko as markaat dekhna chahti hu as akash has well built body but I doubt they will show tapish as markaat coz he was shown scared of markaat when ballu think of calling markaat , he 2 was against it & said if markaat comes then he will rule & cheel clan will loose their control.

I think they are different persons only... If not jai would have reacted differently when bani saved her from the locked room....

My guess is that

1. Markat is a God like creature for the cheels

2. Jai's mother, who lost one side of her face, has been fooling the cheels for sometime by pretending to be markat

3. Veer's mother is a naagin n she is a villain with an agenda, maybe aiding fake markat in whatever plan she has against veer and aadi naagin

Yes, I also think Jay's mother and Veeranshu's mother are different ladies. I don't know whether Veeranshu's mother is a naagin or not. But she seems to be evil and she's probably not his real mother. Markat is a man and he is the god (evil god) of the shape-shifting prey birds. I think he will enter the show later.
