This whole thing only sounds wrong, because as per my knowledge, in 1920's Gandhiji was against women education. He couldn't take women fighting, in his initial stage of freedom struggler. Eventually with passage of time, he also understood that women needed to be educated. So it really doesn't go right. 🤔

What will happen to independence revolution then? Gandhiji was the pivot, may be in show's universe it will happen differently. These people are jeopardising independence efforts.😆🤣

He was not in the support of woman actively participating in revolutions, hence he couldn't have advocated any girl to attend school along with boys. He supported woman education but not in western way.

Exactly my point, then how on earth, did Gandhiji, inspire Bondita, to attend school with boys? They should have done more research on this thing, instead of just making a track and glorifying things which didn't even happen in past.

According to what I have read, Gandhiji was against women empowerment and them fighting for the whole time of his life but he wanted women to be educated because he believed then the sons of the family would grow up under an educated mother and not for anything else.

He is a great personality but there are so many theories of his which doesn't sit right with the theme of the show.

Don't know. The creatives should either study basic Indian History or refrain from using such historical references if they do not hold enough knowledge.

Here its not even fictional. Post independent Indian History is crystal clear, what's stopping them from doing a bit of research!
