Here's what I think the main issue with Rubina and Abhinav is - the foundation of contention re them and BB/Sallu. They both think they're above this show - specifically, they think they're above the format of it. They expect the show to unfold on their terms and their terms alone. They also think they're better than most of the other people there - and how dare BB place them on the same level as these tucche, uncouth, low class people (in the kappal's view).
Ab format inke liye toh badlega nahi - and inko apni payment chahiye, despite the fact that they refuse to respect the show and look down on the opportunity to boot. You don't need to change your personality for this show, or behave out of character - but you do need to play, and you need to play according to the format. Apna gyaan ghusana hain jab bhi dekho lekin.
In short - they're snobs of the highest order. They talk a big game about humanity, fairness, kindness, yada yada - but they greatly lack both humility and empathy. And equality ki baat na ho toh hi better hain, because the kappal don't believe in it regardless - they've always classed themselves on a higher plane than the rest. Which I find ROFL-worthy, because both of them are capable of equal or worse than what they steadily look down on.

Rubina might be narcissist but not Abhinav. Abhinav doesn't have a spine but he doesn't look like someone who looks down upon people. They don't get why BB is only targeting them for no reason. I liked how Abhinav confronted Salman. He takes it from Salman and also gives it back. If BB creates stupid rules randomly then ofcourse one will feel that this show is ghatiya. Abhinav looks so done with the show and is vocal about it. But Rubina doesn't care anymore after the Katputli task. She said that she will never speak her mind cause she always get targeted for it. And it's better she doesn't speak cause she doesn't makes sense to me. 😆
