Why did Yami not achieve success?

Yami is an atypical case of beauty with acting talent who could not make it big. She has it all - the picture-perfect looks, screen presence, acing skills - but lagged behind in the industry and except for Bala, her filmography really sucks.

Is it because she doesn't have a godfather? Is it because of nepotism?

Discuss.

She is bland. Wasn’t she once paired opposite Hrithik ? She should be household name after that. But alas

Well you know the numbers game and all of that. She had the potential to be at the top, if you ask me. But she didn't even make it to top 10 in any ranking/poll.

Is only fair but not beautiful. No stark features. Has a face like a horse.

Went OTT with idiotic fair and lovely advts. No presence and looks completely Bland. Reasons enough.

Good point. But u know what I mean, success by Bollywood standards, not philosophical standards. And for me, success means the achievement of something that you have been trying to do.

What I will rephrase is: Why did Yami not reach the top?

Yup thats what she is. Alright. Just alright. Unfortunately u cant be a top star just by doing annoying ads and being a negligible sidekick.

After a unimaginable super hit in Vicky donor , and winning couple of debut awards.

She was thrown out in favor of alia , alia made debut in same year, and got great offers through kjo to expand her talent, yami wasn't given anything , her big movie was kaabil after her debut 5 years later, in between she had to settle doing movie with pulkit samrat.

If she was some nepo kid she would have gotten a smooth rid.

So even after a good first step you are not getting anything obviously there is something wrong with nepotism wood than anything else.
