Well, in all honesty, I don't hate Bani and this isn't a hate post. This is a post, for another day to Naagin day and also how you want to see Bani repent over her actions which were impulsive and unjustified. Especially towards Veeranshu and Jai. And her Adi Naagin stature overall.
Dekho, ITV ka itihaas gawaah hai, ki hum log hamesha heroine se relate karte aaye hai, and the toxic masculinity that the heroes display always doesn't go down well with us. Lekin, ye pehla aisa show hai and season hai, jahaan hero ke liye root karna aur relate karna easy raha hai compared to the heroine, who unfortunately has a toxic feminity issue - high on ego, independent yet abuses the same guy whom she clings on to for protection, always enforces her superiority in the Nagvansh without justifying it. Like she is the male version of every EK maiyya ka hero. A classic case of role reversal.
I personally feel Bani should be left alone physically and emotionally to fend for herself as it was before Veeranshu entered her life. When we are all alone, we tend to become more self-aware and alert. I am not sure how much her equation with Jai will change, but I guess the story will move in a way that compels her to uproot her current thought process, and replace it with a fresh perspective. Infact, I also want her to save herself for once this time. I mean bhagwan ho ya parents, kabhi na kabhi to chod hi dete hai kyunki they trust their child will handle it. So really, Veeranshu should trust his wife enough that she is capable to handle herself on her own. Maine aise hi usko Shiv nahi kaha. He talks about her being Adi Shakti, but Adi Shakti ko bhi apni ladai khud ladni padi thi. And this is with regard to Jai only. For the cheels, I believe, Veeranshu himself needs to take his duties seriously. And ensure their protection and that they don't hurt Bani as well. That is more his job.

Part of the reason why people are turning against Bani here is the arrogant & over-zealous display of her character.The 4 Naagins before her never received so much hate from the fans here.U wanna feel sympathy for the protagonist but the protagonist itself is an arrogant character & arrogance of what? Both Power & Position.
Shakura destroyed her vanity yet the woman failed to realize the same.And this latest Markat promo is gonna add more troubles to her resume.Jay is anyway looking to always either kill her or steal her powers for his malicious intentions.And I have read news reports that Ballu is gonna join hands with this nemesis Jay tired of Veer's blind adulation for the Aadi-Naagin.
They might be Cheels but they have lost their own kith & kin in the form of Monil.Ponky is gonna die too next does Bani expect the Cheels to just sit back & do nothing about the same?
She easily forgets that Shakura was a Scavenger too but unlike Veer was not that stupid & aware about her strong powers hence executed a stealthy plan to make her powerless.Without Veer she would have become Shakura's powerless bride.
Cheels don't have any weakness for Music but Bani does.Naagin ho ya Aadi-Naagin Bean ke saamne jhukna hi padta hai.Bani might be smart but she's not alert.She's taking the Scavengers lightly only due to Veer's mad love for her & internally Bani knows that.
Yes Veer will protect her to the best of his abilities but u don't get protection always by discarding & treating your shield roughly.Veer is not only the Prince but Bani's husband too so in the future Aadi-Naagin has to convince the Naaglok too of the Scavenger being her husband.
Aadi-Naagin is the uncrowned Supreme Ruler of all the clans will the snake clans accept a Scavenger as her husband though the husband might love the ruler madly.Shiv has given his blessings but Markat could spoil the game if she involves the Naaglok into this drama.
Hukum/Huzoor used the Naaglok against the then Queen Bela so Markat might not be an exception here.
