I know that in those eras they grew up and became mature quicker than girls of this era, but keeping secrets, dil dhadakna, clapping and singing ai giri nandini, forgiving mami etc were too ott.

Oh that's great if the mahaan ITV bahuness was noticeable to others too - like the aspects you've pointed out!

I started watching for the story, and looking forward to seeing how they take the story from here! Especially the education track with chhoti Bondita.
