Part 6.

Bondita heard what Aniruddh said and she felt her heart sinking. She just thought of Mimi. Mimi (Chayanika Devi) was the main lure of her staying at Chandra Mahal... Baba Moshayi (Trilochan Kaka), was amazing too. She loved to watch how Som Dada, Batuk, Mimi and Baba Moshayi interacted with each other. A family..., this is how a family felt like. Bondita knew she was not their family and yet she didn't want to get lost in the crowd again. While oiling Mimi's hair, helping Batuk with his latest essay and playing Carrom with Baba Moshayi and Som Da, she has started to fake it, pretend that it was her family, and somehow somewhere she had been successful... Although it was not something she did deliberately or with any thought of entitlement. It was like the bioscope world, where for those few minutes you forgot your own reality.

But now she feared that Dassyu Raja will throw her and Bhutoo out the very day, maybe the very instance. So, she packed her meager belongings in her bag, and went to take Mimi's permission to leave, but then sat near the kitchen wall and cried quietly.

Ani found her there, sobbing her heart out and her Bhutoo sitting by her. Her bag lay nearby. He smiled and crouched in front of her, then asked softly…

"Yaha kya ho raha hai?"

Bondita who was surprised to find him in the kitchen looked up at him and stammered out a shaky "K..kuch nahi".

"Maine kisike rone ki awaaz suni, kaun ro raha tha?" He asked looking at her intently.

"K..koi nahi…" said Bondita while she still had tears spilling from her scared eyes.

Ani looked in those eyes and his smile vanished. He gritted his teeth and found that he didn't like her being this scared or helpless.

He wiped her face with fingers but Bondita flinched at his touch…

"Chalo utho jaldi se, muh dhoke mere saath chalo…" Aniruddh tried to pacify her.

She washed her face in the kitchen and then wiped her face in her saree, but when she turned around she saw that Dassyu Raja was looking at Bhutoo very strangely. She rushed to save Bhutoo from him but in her hurry got tripped and Ani caught her.

"Kya kar rahi thi tum? Dekh ke nahi chal sakti?" He asked, his anger slowly rising, 'Use chot lag jati toh?' the unexpected fear and protectiveness swirling around in his head.

Aniruddh was about to scold her more when he saw her eyes going big in fear and then she fainted in his arms!

Part 7.

Bondita fainting in his fear was the last thing Aniruddh had expected. He had been teasing the girl. What harm did she imagine he planned for her and her Bhutoo? "Stupid fool" he muttered sourly.

When Mrinu and Batuk came, both of them gave him the look. He shrugged quietly, but then...

"Oh, kya hua meri Boni ko?" Chayanika Devi asked in concern.

- "Kuch nahi Kakiya, main ayaa toh yaha baith ke ro rahi thi. Aur maine pucha toh faint ho gayi. Aap chaho toh uske Bhutoo se puch lo."

"Kakiya Dadamuni jhoot bolrahe hai. Maine khud apne kano se suna subah yeh bol rahe the ke Meri Kakiya aur laad lene sab aajate hai. Aur bola ke dono ko ghar se nikalna padega... Boni ne sab sun liya. Yeh dekho uska bag bhi yahi pada hua hai. Sab Dadamuni ki hi galti hai." Batuk said glaring at his elder brother.

"Kisiko bula toh Boni ko mere kamre mein leke jayenge..."

"Kakiya main uthata..." Aniruddh began only to get cut by a furious Chayanika Devi;

"Koi zarurat nahi hai, bechari anath bachhi ko dara ke murchit kar diya... Chiii, koi sunega toh kya sochega, Chayanika ne kya shiksha diya hai apne ladle bete ko?"

- "Achha daant lena aap badme abhi isko upar tak kaun uthake le jaa payega?"

"Batuk, Som ko bula lao.." ordered his Kakiya

Well that hurts, Ani thought. Why Som? Of course because the silly twit was not afraid of him.

With Som, she laughed and then she helped him choose his cufflinks, she brought him matching shoes and watch. With Kaka she discussed his several unique rituals of his Raaj Baari. It was only him with whom she went silent, hid in the shadows or even ran around packing her belongings just because he said something in heat of the moment in an irritable condition!

But after all the rants in his mind he still felt worried and a bit guilty too. "Why would she faint?..."

He looked at her Bhutoo and offered the tiny dog some biscuits...

"Toh Bhutoo Babu, aap hi batao meri itni bhi kya galti thi? Shuruwat toh apne ki mere din ki...." he asked, but Bhutoo looked at him for sometime and then yelped at him as if he too was scolding him and then ran away.

Aniruddh sighed.

At a guest room upstairs,

Trilochan Roy Chowdhury and Chayanika Trilochan Roy Chowdhury were extremely worried, as they took in the sight of the unconscious girl.

"Chini, this can not be good. She is too weak and has been unconscious for so long. We should run a few more tests, this is the third time that she has fainted like this..."

Chayanika was scared but she has not discussed this with anyone. Bondita has fainted before while she told stories and it seemed as if they were just not stories but- but what?

By evening Bondita had high fever and she spoke in her unconscious state, crying for Dassyu Raja, and sometimes for other names. They were all protagonists of her stories. Chayanika noticed, all these people had left their partners for some reasons. She, was worried what was going one in her Boni's mind...

Tum log jo padhke comment nahi karte ho na sirf like maarte ho, dekhna tum sab ganje ho jaoge. Comment kyun nahi karte mujhe kaise pata chalega update kaisa tha if I don't get reviews.

It is an intriguing story. Would definitely want you to continue. Eagerly waiting for the next part

- Kakiya and Ani are the best. She and Trilochan literally raised the three brothers like there own and didn't have a family of their own. Chayanika and Bondita are precious too.
