Lol idk if they brought it up randomly, Ved always seemed sketchy to me. Maybe makers were in a rush to start the courtship

Btw did you notice that meenu always chooses grooms whose names start with V and are sketchy for ketki: first Ved and then Varun 😆 and both times mishku did their parda faash while live telecasting the whole confrontation to their family🤣

Yeah I think so too. They just randomly wrapped it up within 1-2 episodes.

Yeah they did, mishku were in the front yard with ved and were telecasting it for the whole family who was waiting at the mandap

Maybe because they weren't getting paid or were told to wrap up. So they just recycled their own old stuff 😆

Now when we revisit..the main flaw is the story and narration..the whole thing as well as tracks seems like an undercooked dish...they took a progressive concept but never imagined that the demography watching will be progressive and attentive.

All other factors are on point..

The epis are a delight to watch any time.

Episode 24 first part

Mishti defends Ketu when mami rebukes her for running around putting haldi

Mahs apply haldi on Ketu BM asks won’t Meenu come? Nanu goes to fetch her

Mishti watches Abir being his kind philanthropic self with RJV staff. Abir spots her and smiles, she gives him water bottle to clean the haldi on his face. 😆 looks like Abir wanted to keep his Soni’s haldi on him forever.😳 He asks her she agreed for the marriage, she says everyone feels I should agree. They sit on the swing and converse. Mishti says she and Kunal don’t know anything about each other

Abir teases her Kunal doesn’t know she’s an angry chorni and violent too. She laughs and asks if Kunal is as funny as he is.

Abir says she would learn how he is if they spent more time with EO, Mish says she wanted to discuss that with him the previous day but then police fiasco happened but she talked to nanu and Kunal about this that morning and they said Meenu has to agree

KuKu discussing their siblings in the house and discover both Mishti and Abir love poetry and shayari. Matlab even KuKu have some idea that Mishti and Abir have similar personalities and KuKu are similar. But don’t opposites attract? Kuhu asks Kunal if he likes straight or curly hair? Kunal says he doesn’t notice anyone’s hair that much

Mish tells Abir Kuhu thinks her Prince Charming will come for her on a white horse. Abir asks why hadn’t that story been updated?😆 He will update it for sure riding wedding horse to airport to bring Mishti back home.

Abir jokes just imagine you’re stuck in a traffic jam and a prince comes by on his white horse and asks directions for Maheshwari house. 😆

Mishti laughs and says her life isn’t a fairy tale and she isn’t expecting a Prince Charming. She’s seen marital relationships become a burden so she wants to be sure about Kunal before giving her consent.👍🏼 She and Kunal need lots of time to understand each other’s nature. Abir asks you want marital courtship? Jugnu overheard. 😆

Meenu indirectly taunts nanu for not telling her before going to mah house. Nanu tells her to dress up and attend Ketu’s haldi as Kunal’s in laws have come. Meenu corrects nanu that they’re not in laws yet 😈

She rebukes nanu that he doesn’t need her anymore as he went without telling her but she had left her husband to come help in his business when he had requested her. Abir still taunts her for leaving his dad and she has to live with the pain. What a load of lies! 😡Meenu came herself to help nanu but later Mehul also was involved in Nanu’s business otherwise how did he commit fraud?🤪 Writers were all mixed up about what twist they would give for Abir’s dad’s absence. Meenu blames nanu for ending her marriage! That she left her husband to help her father but now she has neither mayka nor sasural . Cunning Meenu giving nanu the guilt trip😈

Episode 24 second part

Jugnu tells mami and Parul that Mishti wants to take Kunal to court. Mami demands Mahs to tell what’s this about? Mami panicking that all this court stuff will jeopardize Ketu’s wedding. Abir tries to calm down mami who yells to Benba to come down. Meenu finally deigns to come down and the matter is revealed to be Jugnu misunderstanding Abir Mishti conversation. Bade Papa tells Meenu tells his daughter has requested marital courtship as their family gives equal importance to the girl’s consent. 👍🏼

Mamu finds google meaning prem alap, Mami asks vilaap? 😆Nice play on words

Meenu rebukes mami when God was distributing brain where were you? Mami says i was somewhere close by. 😆

Nanu tries to explain to Meenu she rebukes him but he reminds her he’s the most senior member of the family. Abir tells Kunal look at our nanu you thought he was supporting cast but he’s Amitabh Bachchan. 😎

Nanu says he already heard Mishti’s request and has no problems. Meenu tries to hint they tried to hide it from her and Nidhi revealed it. Abir says you were busy so they never got a chance to tell you.

Meenu turns tough and asks Mahs so your daughter wants to test my son before marrying him? Is my son a car in a showroom that your daughter wants to test drive? That was such a nasty thing to say! 🤢 She repeated Abir’s earlier words, is my son a store object?

BM explained it well that traditions should change with time or else they become chains. my daughter wants to learn more about your son and he about her, there’s wrong about that. This is not our times, we should move ahead with the times

Kuhu applauds BM for her modern thinking, Abir agrees and says BM gave a great speech. Meenu agrees BM expressed well what she thinks. She asked Parul to bring water and tells Mishti to drink the water.

Mish sips and spits it out as it has salt. Meenu says children know it’s water but only elders can say it has salt. What a dumb analogy!🤪

Meenu says children want freedom and independence but elders should wield control over that freedom. At crucial times someone should guide them. Children don’t know but they need elders guidance and help. BM agreed and was going to continue but the Parekhs arrived right then and Varsha quickly managed the situation by saying Meenu was waiting for them.

Nanu Shaurya and BP sitting inside, shaurya said it didn’t go as we expected. Nanu’s hands are shaking holding the cup. Poor Nanu, bullied by his own daughter.

Kunal takes Abir to the room and says see what happened, maheshwaris get into trouble everytime because of us, Abir is thrilled at Kunal’s concern. Kunal thinks his mother wants this Rishta but wants everything according to her wishes. Abir says mother wants to control the weather and monsoon and rainbows. There’s no limit to her wish to control.

Kunal shuts up Abir and says nanu ate god knows what chyavanprash and agreed to Mahs request. 😆Kunal tells Abir not to say anything and he will handle mom

Downstairs Mrs Parekh blesses Ketu and says now Ketu is their bahu and Mishti is RJV’s. Meenu hesitates then says she feels there should not be any conditions attached to forming new relations. They will form Rishta without conditions and fulfill them too.
Mahs are upset, Mrs Parekh asks when is wedding date fixed? Abir tells her she will be informed first. Abir plays a trick giving a gift to Mrs Parekh on the condition that she will let Mahs participate as RJV family guests. Mrs Parekh disagrees saying Mahs are her friends, she calls BM to help gift the wedding sari to Ketu. Meenu finally puts haldi on Ketu and Mrs Parekh and BM blessed Ketu and gave her the wedding sari.

Kuhu whispered to Mishti isn’t your saas too dangerous? Mishti shushed her that someone will hear. Abir behind them says he heard and offers water saying he won’t mix salt like his mom to give lectures. 😆Kuhu taunts Abir about his age and drinks the water. Mishti says she’s apprehensive, Abir says he is too.

Epi 25 part 2 - BM asking for a promise from mish that she will let go of her marital courtship condition. BP stops her. He was father goals! 👍🏼

Meenu played another cunning ploy, she burnt ketu's wedding sari herself just to stop kunal from calling mishti. 😡 how low can she go?

For a change, varsha showing concern for mish was also nice to see. wish they stayed like that.
