In defence of the CVs, nothing really has been said about Samrat's father. How did he die? Why do Mansi and Samrat live here. Open to interpretation. Let's see, hoping for a logical explanation.

Even i observed the same. But then i thought officially they changrd Samrat's name. But as per the rituals, nothing will change na. So his dad's surname was used during wedding.

I know i overthink and i am sure it might be a blooper 😆

I dont remember exactly but i think on Sangeet day, i guess in that flashback, something was said.. or when Bhavani was taunting Mansi.. i somehow remember that Mansi's in laws didnt let her stay there without her husband or something of that sort.

That's why they are here.. so young Virat scolded him and asked him to go back

Is it so? But i think according to what was mentioned on that flashback(on Sangeet day), during that dahi handi, Virat asked Samrat to go back to Pune. So i think it was in those days that they had come to stay with Chavan family.

So i think maybe he's not born out of wedlock

Just my assumptions based on what is shown lol 😆
