People can disagree with his actions, find him disgusting yaan joh bhi - but terming those same actions as paagal or stemming from his self-admitted mental health struggles is not on. Phir toh, as you said, Punnu, Rubina - yeh bhi hue paagal and mental issues waale. But no one is going to find them such, because they haven't admitted to such struggles.

It takes a lot of courage, in this particular society, to own up to mental health issues and try to deal with them as opposed to opting for denial - and that at least shouldn't be discounted or misused IMO. This "psychopath out to harm people" narrative is hella unfair.

This particular crap of Naina's pissed me off the other day too - with the cigarettes stuff - you can be pissed, sure, but refusing to cook for the whole house, and then two people you have an issue with - is simply cheap. And it was equally so for the HMs encouraging and praising her for this. Same goes for Punnu now.

I think BB might have zeroed in on Rubina, Jasmine and Eijaaz for the top 3. 3 candidates they would have liked to set the narrative around. The likes of Nikki, Jaan, Pavitra and Rahul are supposed to provide entertainment and engaging value and not end up gaining massive public support or liking because then they become a hindrance to what BB wants to do and who he wants to get to the trophy. Also, if I'm not wrong, these 3 are also the highest paid contestants if the sources are to be believed. So, when you place a huge amount investment in people and you're paying them a bomb, you'll have plans for return investments as well. It's business after all, at the end of the day.

But Rahul seems to have become a hindrance here which is why he is being sidelined so much, Jas and Rubina's rivalry isn't quite kicking off the way BB would have liked to because imo both aren't strong enough to single handedly sustain a dushamni without Abhinav or Ally being present or without the dynamics and narrative being set and centred around them. Jas gets out of the red zone, gets saved from nominations, Ally is bought solely for her as per BB and Ally himself and she also ends up becoming a captain. The timing of it all happening way to fishy to not suspect a foul play.

I agree re the top 3 of BB's choices. And the reason I think Eijaz is in there with the bahus is cuz I don't believe he is any threat whatsoever for either of them winning. He's a safe bet in that sense. Replacing him with a Rahul - from BB's perspective - is dangerous given the organic support Rahul has been gaining. That is my opinion as it currently stands, and I stand by it.

And this season - they're not even trying to be subtle about the ridiculous amount of interference and scripting. For me, at least - that is pissing me off more than any given contestant or even all of them combined.

That's where I guess people's perception of him began to slightly change. And then in the following week his nepotism comment came. Considering the current public sentiment towards it, it just sort of propelled him further ahead.

Yeah he did well in that farm task but so did Jasmine Pavitra Nishant imo I think that nepotism comment really increased his fan following
