I think it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that nothing anymore is entirely organic at BB anymore. It's narrative and returns controlled to a great deal and that very clear shows, especially since a few seasons. Last season Rashmi wasn't ever a favourite of BB, she might have gotten to stayed the amount of time she did because one, contract terms and conditions and two, she eventually gained support and sympathy from audiences because her reputation and personal life was constantly tarnished time and again. That's no being favourite of BB, whoever thought so must not quite understand how BB functions.

Hina could have won but her chances were hampered due to the Shilpa-Vikas conflicts and some of it was on her because she couldn't exactly prove herself to be the ideal candidate for the winner going by the mandate.

Every year BB does zero in on at least 3 candidates for the winner positions, imo and does everything the team can to set a narrative around time and see to it at their chosen one's are locked for the top 3 and then whoever wins, wins. But if a wave of great support and liking from the public hampers his plans, he switches to including one public favourite and 1-2 of his chosen candidates in order to look organic. And if the support turns out to be massive, he can't do much to change that. Case in point, I don't think Gauhar and Gautam were supposed to win in their respective seasons but they ended up winning owing to their own personalities and massive public support.

Last season, I don't think Asim was even a candidate for top 5 but he ended up being in top 2 because audiences grew to liking him, especially against Shukla. So, they dropped Rashmi out from even the top 3 and chose Shehnaaz instead because she provided that 'entertainment' value.

Please note that when I see 'audiences' or 'public support', it is just a general reading based on what is being voiced on various public platforms and who it is against/for. We don't have the statistics here to be able to discern just how much percentage of public liking/support each contestant has for himself/herself. And who you think is most liked can change from one platform to another. If majority of people seem to be in Rahul's support at IF for whatever reasons of their own, it might be completely opposite somewhere else.

All this is based on my understanding of how BB used to work once upon a time and how it has been workings since a few seasons now and it is pretty much my own opinion. You can, of course, have your own. And by that extension, nobody here is required to see to the show as you see and you aren't required to either. Let's not get to, 'kisi ko nahi dikhta ya sirf Ruby hi dikhti hain' because kisko kya dikhta hain is entirely subjective beyond a general premise that's established.

If tomorrow someone says ruby is being praised a lot on this forum, toh kya does that mean I want people to stop praising her? No nah. I was just stating what I felt. Itna toh banta hain.

Might I suggest you something? Unsolicited piece of advice hain, lena hain toh le sakti hain aap warna chaude mein ignore maarein, no issues.

DDT may not be a person himself to be offended but DDT is collectively made of members, especially those who are a frequent here or veterans. So, when you suggest that it's all Ruby, Ruby Ruby here all the time, you're implying that a handful of people get together here for the purpose of dissing Ruby only. Even if you did not mean that by any sense or chance, when you quote a person specifically and tell them is that only what/who you see always? be assured that it will be misconstrued. When you need to voice an opinion here regardless of who it is against/for and you don't mean to have a direct one to one conversation with a person here, avoiding quoting them I'd say. This isn't a rule, it is just my own personal suggestion as to how to best operate within DDT without having to feel offended/attacked yourself or offend/attack someone.

Ah VW, that is BB's way. They will never show Shardul-Rahul being silly together. They will never show Nikki-Eijaz having a heart-to-heart etc. because it doesn't fit into their narrative which we all know. Rahul and Shardul can be so entertaining together because they have similar traits such as wit, humour, intuition and being well spoken. BB isn't even trying to be sneaky anymore. They said eff that lets just straight up prevent Rahul from playing and tell Jasmine she can get the Aly advantage.

Notice how these guys didn't have to do much to gain audience support? Like you said, it's that organic potential. Rahul was nowhere in week 1. People in fact wanted him out of the show and found him boring but then he blossomed. Shardul grew on people too. Neither of them was forced on us. Nikki-Eijaz actually have a nice bond but instead they force a fake romance on us in the form of PavJaz. One thing I could appreciate about season 12 was the Sree-Dipika sibling bond. Not all relationships have to be about romance especially when they are not organic.

I think BB might have zeroed in on Rubina, Jasmine and Eijaaz for the top 3. 3 candidates they would have liked to set the narrative around. The likes of Nikki, Jaan, Pavitra and Rahul are supposed to provide entertainment and engaging value and not end up gaining massive public support or liking because then they become a hindrance to what BB wants to do and who he wants to get to the trophy. Also, if I'm not wrong, these 3 are also the highest paid contestants if the sources are to be believed. So, when you place a huge amount investment in people and you're paying them a bomb, you'll have plans for return investments as well. It's business after all, at the end of the day.

But Rahul seems to have become a hindrance here which is why he is being sidelined so much, Jas and Rubina's rivalry isn't quite kicking off the way BB would have liked to because imo both aren't strong enough to single handedly sustain a dushamni without Abhinav or Ally being present or without the dynamics and narrative being set and centred around them. Jas gets out of the red zone, gets saved from nominations, Ally is bought solely for her as per BB and Ally himself and she also ends up becoming a captain. The timing of it all happening way to fishy to not suspect a foul play.

Exactly I saw an unseen where Rahul is cutting onion slowly maybe he genuinely doesnt know but he is doing it all the same. Shardul comes to ask him if he needs help and is doing some other house work.

Coming and holding people hostage for food is sick and esp when both are asking you how they can help. Plus dumbass Pavitra starts to insert herself in other people’s issues.

In yesterday's episode,I do agree with Ejaz regarding Jasmin.Jasmin kept the key of red zone in store room(in which they keep their clothes) carelessly.He mentioned he gave it to her two/three times but again she was keeping it without any care.Captain ban jab gai ho responsibility sahise nibhao.

Also one more thing that is,I am not at all liking Aly i.e.I mean I can't connect with him as a contestant.Ek toh I don't understand makers ko itni kya jaldi thi issko laaneki.Yahanpe quarentine guzar raha hai and ye phone pe baat karna its so annoying.More than a contestent he had become khabri,gyan dene waala.sab aapna issue laake isske paas aa jaate hai jaise ye sab solve kardega.

Also ye me samaj gai Aly ko bheja hi gaya hai taaki Jasmin Ruby group se out karsake.He is trying to mingle with Nikki.He will try to form Nikki,Jasmin,Aly and Jaan in one group.

Keeping the whole narrative around Rubina and Jasmine is boring the hell out of me. They are just not interesting enough sorry. One dimensional si personalities hein inki.

Sid was absolutely hateful but at least he ran the show last year.
