rajya sabah saw dharam didnt want escape

the rajya sabha head saw that although veer wanted dharam to escape dharam refused so why did they throw him in the kalagrah for no fault of his but they let veer go scot free coz he is the only one left for the throne..........what stupid reasoning is this😡
