This was made in 2015. Alia had 3 releases in 2014- Highway which was critically acclaimed and 2 States and Humpty Sharma which were legit blockbusters at the box office. She was given titles and hyped up just like any other actor who has a great year at the box office. Just like how Vidya was called the 4th Khan after TDP and Kahaani back to back success and then her films started flopping. This is nothing special to Alia, happens to every actor. Happened with Sona after Lootera, happened with Deepu after YJHD/Chennai Express etc.

Everyone is making fun of her acting but no one is acknowledging the fact that Alia despite gave a nepokid used to give auditions before coming in movies....and people say star-kids get everything in platter.

Alia too had struggled like outsiders to get movies and this video is a proof of that.

Love Tripti and dislike Alia but it is much harder to appear natural when you are just saying lines in front of a camera without any setup or another actor to bounce of from.

I'm sorry but what is this???😆 How can you compare an audition to an edited and published piece of work? Not to mention, it is EQUALLY terrible.

I'm not a fan of Alia's subpar acting but this one is no better. Also, this is STOY audition, not Wake Up Sid. Wake Up Sid came out in 2007 when Alia was 14.

Tripti's facial expressions are more on point. Aloo does have someone reading the lines with her. The people Tripti was speaking to did not have much dialogues "Goor Kya Rahe hai." The person responded by looking at her awkwardly. She is def pretending to speak to someone on the phone. When she is on the bench she hardly has any interaction with anyone. The setup may def help. But as a whole Tripti's expressions and delivery are more on point in terms of what you would expect someone in the situation to react. You get the type of blunt/outgoing/goofy personality she is trying display. Although a shorter clip, limited to one scene, who get no overall picture of the character Aloo is displaying. Despite the short comings Aloo may have had. It is not hard to rank Tripti's work above Aloo's. Although even Tripti goes a bit OTT here and there.

I havent watched Bulbul. But this was pretty bad. Its embarrassing that you have put this video to prove that Tripti is better than Alia😆
