I too feel that a fierce showdown between the Adi Naagin & the Cheel Prince is inevitable. However heart-wrenching it might be but it will take place in all probability. Veer's love versus Bani's rage.As far as Veeranshu is concerned, I still a final face-off between Bani and Veer will take place in future! Both in their original forms! Bani would be true to her clan till the end I feel!
I guess it was the day of engagement of ponky and mayuri.
Not like that I guess veer slapped him that day. May be he was drunk and he did something to meera as he got slap from veer that day because of her.😆if she kills him for misbehaving I will go and give her left and right naagin 5 ka mazak banake rakha hai 😆dushman koi aur hai dushmani kisi aur se nibha rahe hai 😆 balwant and veer were there in satyug unpe toh pyar baras raha hai aur bechara monil jo kalyug main paida hua hai usko marne ka kya logic hai😆
The other funny reason I could think of is he did cheel cheek dance with shakura that's why he was killed 😆

Woh to hoga hi, dekhte hai Veeranshu maarta hai ya marta hai. Bani maarti hai ya bachati hai.
Veeranshu and Bani ka pyaar ka angle kaise pursue karenge kaun jaane.
Bani ke hisaab se saare Singhanias shaitaani cheel hai, and it was a given that she would kill them one by one. Veeranshu is actually brave enough to love his foe, and I expect him to continue loving her even after knowing her real identity.. on the other hand he will lose his family members one by one, but he also went against them for Bani, so he might not be deeply affected by their loss. Bani has nothing to lose since she has nurtured and fuelled hatred for the Cheels, she will go all guns blazing to fulfill her ambition.
