So legend has it that one day a lonely scorpion, all weary and tired, stands helplessly by the bank of a deep river. It tries its best to achieve its goal of “successfully” crossing the river.
It first decides to ask a bird to help it cross the river, but then realizes that it could potentially end up in the bird’s belly instead. Then it tries to ride atop a stranded leaf, but the leaf topples over even before it could get its journey started. Devoid of any help or absolutely any sign of aid, it starts to weep with its pinchers trembling in the air.
There comes a decent, humble green frog and enquires the little critter of his problem. The scorpion sheds buckets like a child and explains its side of the story. The frog pities his destitute friend and offers assistance to help it cross the river.
The caring frog fulfills its part of the promise by carefully swimming across the river with its new pal and drops it off safely on the other side. Right as the scorpion is about to part ways, it stings the gullible and unsuspecting frog. The scorpion’s venom starts paralyzing the frog slowly. As the frog starts to pass out, it questions the scorpion of the ungratefulness.
The scorpion, with a smirk on its now satisfied and content face, responds: You helped me cross the river, because that’s what your intrinsic instincts told you to. Did you, however, forget that I am a scorpion? My instinct is to sting - I do not have friends and I cannot be trusted for making bonds and relationships!
From the show’s perspective, Pavitra and Eijaz are the frog and scorpion of the BB house!
