OMG what a chapter , worth waiting !
but why her father is so unhappy , why he sulks so much on this whole prospect ?
Amazing chapter yaar
Finally he proposed...!!
So romantic setting💔
These words were the best~~~
Khud ko hum jitna nahi samajhte hai, utna hum aapko chahte hai"

And the proposal was also sooo romantic😳
The lines which jalal spoke during confession were the best lines
So both the families were already present
I think it was pre-planned
But why her father is so mch against jalal😡
Who will tell him that jalal is so mch good and his choice vikrant is jst disgusting🤢
He kidnapped jodha then also her father belives that he is a good guy because he had chosen him
Please God give some brains to her father to justify who is right and who is wrong
Continue it soon
Thx 4 update

Chapter 31: Destination
The first sight of the place took my breathe away. It was decorated so well with lamps.
Amer Fort.
Two horses set near. They were saddled up.
"I hope you still know how to horse ride." Jalal joked. I chuckled. Both of up sat up on the horse. We took off.
"Do you know, Shehenshah. Maan Singh and Heer almost all the time would have a horse riding race through the path to see who wins." My sister Shivani told him laughing. I chuckled.
"I always won." I added. Shehenshah chuckled. "What? You think that I'm lying?" I asked.
"Heer, that is Maan Singh. You can't defeat him." He chuckled.
"Alright then. I can prove it. If you want, you can try to race with me. I can defeat you." I challenged. Both of us had started to race. I was fast enough. I turned to tease him halfway but then I noticed that he took off his crown. He waved his hair. My mind kept telling me that this was a trick. He was using my weakness against me. He knew I was weak against his hair flying like that. I kept staring at the beauty he was. Before I knew he passed me.
The horse galloped and made his hair continuously jump up in the air. He was beautiful. He was built perfectly as a warrior. He was neither huge like his milk brother nor was he thin. His perfectly tailored tunic which hugged him perfectly. Bejeweled in diamonds, rubies and so many precious stones.
I followed him up but still lost. A grin was up on his lips.
"I won." He declared. I just stared at him. He loved winning and I did fall in love with the way he smiled when he won. Victory meant so much to him. Regardless of what it was. He had never learnt how to accept defeat.
I was already up at the gate by the time I realized. Jalal was behind me. I turned around to see him. Same eyes, same facial feature, same physique, the same shoulder length hair that flew as he rode the horse.
There was a smile on his face. He looked so beautiful. Of course, the fashion had changed but the feeling was so perfectly same. My heart beat rose. I felt the tears lining in my eyes.
"I didn't bring you here to make you cry. Is everything alright?" He asked. I simply wrapped my arms around him. He held me. There were no words to explain how it felt. For the first time, I felt the loss. How many years I had spent waiting for him. Several things had changed about everything around us. Time changed, situations changed, people changed, experiences changed, lives changed but what remained so strongly same was the way it felt to be in arms. To know he was still here, with me.
He picked me up in his arms. I just stared at him. It was decorated well. I was surprised.
"Though, are we on a trip here?" I asked him. It was still considerably empty. I had never been here when it was so empty. There were always too many people around. Heer was surrounded by soldiers and Jodha had been here with so many tourists flooding the place.
"No. It is going to sound a little crazy. I'm sure you remember this being your home previously. Of course, there is crap loads of changes but it still the same Amer Fort. You always wished that our marriage had taken place here in Amer but it never happened so, this time around, I thought that maybe we should marry here. So, I had things set." He said. I just stared him in surprise.
"It is not important for me where we marry, it is much more important that we come together." I told him. He rolled his eyes.
"Jaan, you're marry Jalal Ali Sheikh. You could ask me anything in the world and I'll get it. Maybe you should take advantage of it." He pointed out as he put his arms on my shoulders. "Anyway, by tomorrow morning, everyone else with gather here."
"Thanks." I thanked him.
"Anything for you."
He held my hand and both of us entered the fort. I had to admit, it seemed so surreal. Several parts were added. Like the sheesh mahal wasn't there. I smiled it was really beautiful.
"Do you remember how many fight we had right there?" I asked laughing. He grinned.
"I still remember how you sneaked me out at pitch dark night out because you wanted to show me your secret lake. The whole fort had gone crazy with worry when we disappeared." He pointed out.
------
The next morning, the preparations had begun. Dad didn't like it but he nonetheless gave in. If I had assumed that everything was extremely easy on Jalal's side then it was going to be a wrong thought. Everything seemed perfect until Jalal's grandmother arrived with her husband. His grandfather was quite happy with me. We had a long conversation and I seemed to get great with him. But with his grandmother was a different story. She was no easy woman to please. She was after all a Princess of Abu Dhabi. Her father was the Sheikh. After him, her favourite brother took the throne. Then her beloved nephew is the crown prince.
The silence prevailed on the table at Suvarna Mahal, Rambhag Palace. On one side, Kainaat Ali Sheikh sat and on the other side was me. I wore a white collared shirt, blue jacket and blue skirt and heels. She gave a formidable air. As such Jalal did assure me that she was no orthodox but I might still have to be careful. It wasn't until then that I actually realized that I was practically marrying into royalty. The families in UAE are all interwines. No wonder Jalal had such easy access to UAE. He was halfway family to them.
She sipped her tea.
"Jodha." She said. I looked at her. "So, my husband tells me that you're a businesswoman."
"Yes. I work at my father's office as the Vice-President." I answered.
"So, do you think you'll still have the post after you're married? Don't get me wrong but I've heard that your father isn't very pleased with this proposal. So, do you think you'll still have the position?" She asked.
I smiled. "Dad and I have a lot of differences, Mrs Ali Sheikh, but it will always remain that he is my father. We can fight, argue and have a fall out but we can't break our ties. Dad is a bit business minded in matters of heart. I'm aware of how my family would seem to you. My parents divorced, my mother remarried, my father remarried and that but it doesn't change that they are my family. I love them regardless of how they are." I answered.
"Jodha, how will you manage it? Your father is not pleased, don't you think you should wait longer to convince him?"
"It isn't not that, your highness. My dad, like all fathers, don't like to hear that they seem to be wrong in their choice of a man for their daughter. He's not wrong in believing so but I have always believed to have the freedom of choosing the person I wish to spend the rest of my life with. Jalal and I, as much as I believe, have always meant to end up with other. I cannot imagine any other person as perfectly suited to me than him."
"I was brought up differently, Jodha. Religion and monarchy prevailed my childhood. We all had boundaries that we were not allowed to cross. I almost believed that my rest life would be spent in it until I met Zaid. It was quite different with him. Almost as if my world had spun and shown me that there is another way to live. I came from royalty and live in royalty but what about you? How will you manage among all of us. I don't know of how much you know about our family but Ali Sheikhs are like family among UAE. So, very often they are invited to intimate family gatherings. How will you keep up?"
"Just confidence that I will manage when it come to that."
She looked at me for a while and smiled at me.
"You know what, several years ago, when I had first married Zaid and entered their family home, I saw their family portraits. I had seen several Queen throughout my life. Honestly speaking, I was brought up hearing stories of great Queens of the Mughal family like Nur Jahan and Mumtaz. After all, their stories are so famous. They are known for how much power they held. I had also seen severals queens and Sheikhas all my life but still, the portrait that catches the eye of every woman who walks in that study is that Mariam Uz Zamani. She gave me such an odd feeling. The Empress but still such sweetness in her eyes. You look exactly like her. Every inch same."
I didn't know what to say.
"Thank you."
"I know the truth, Jodha."
I looked at her confused. She gave me a box. I opened it and saw a beautiful pin. It was used to clip the dupatta over the head. It was extremely beautiful. Encrusted with emeralds and topaz. In a second I recognized it. It was my 'Ammijaan's' favourite pin. She wore it at all of her favourite occassions. Birthday celebrations and marriage anniversaries.
"It is beautiful."
"My husband's grandmother gave it to me. Syeda Ali Sheikh. She was a wonder. No words could explain her better. Her softness was like the sweetest water of the Himalayas to the man who has been dying of thirst. She gave it to me when I first entered the house as their daughter in law. She told me to give it to my grandson's wife."
"Thank you."
"It is a family heirloom. If I'm not wrong, it belonged to Hamida Banu. Her mother gave it to her. She never got to give it to her beloved daughter in law, hence passed it to her granddaughter in law. She gave it to her grandson before she died so it could be given to his first wife. Since then, it has been given to the granddaughter in law of the family. The wife of favourite grandson."
I smiled at it when I looked at it. It was such a beautiful memory of her. I smiled at that. She smiled.
"I presumed that at least after several centuries it could finally reach the person she wanted to give it to. They told her that she couldn't give it to her beloved daughter in law because she was a hindu. The times were orthodox then but not now. That's why I'm giving this to you." She added. "To me, family is very important. I just wanted to know what would you do? leave your family behind and live with Jalal or maintain relations with your family even if they don't seem to like the idea of this marriage. Marriage isn't easy. Especially when it seems that your father isn't hundred percent pleased with the idea of it. My mother never got to speak to her father because she married my father without his wish. Before dying she just expressed her regret that she didn't try to reconcile with her father."
I looked at the pin.
"Ab aapse kya parda, Heer? Aap humare liye humari beti ki tarah hai." She told me.
"Ammijaan, kyu aise pareshaan ho rahi hai? Baat sirf ek gehne ki hai. Uske liye apne aap ko itni takleef kyu de rahi hai. Hume accha nahi lagta jab aap aise udaas hoti hai. How can a daughter be happy if she sees her mother sad? I don't care much for a jewellery. I know it is so close to your heart but if this makes you sad then I don't want to be associated with it." I complained. She smiled.
"Alright, don't get miffed at me. Just that my mother gave it to me when I was child. She would tell me stories about prince and princesses. She always made me feel so loved that I always missed her. Until you came into my life. You gave me just the same amount of sweetness and love. So, I wanted to give it to you. How they have pulled religion into this as well. I just feel sad that I can't give it to you." She expressed herself.
"Ammijaan, you have loved me so much. That is the greatest gift." I assured her.
"Ammijaan, you're just sad that you couldn't give it to your beloved daughter, right?" Shehenshah asked her. Both, Ammijaan and I looked at him.
"Yes." She answered.
"Good, then let me suggest a way out." He offered.
"Sure." Ammijaan said smiling.
"Toh aap ise us begum ko dein jisse dekh kar aisa lage ki woh Heer jaisi hai." He suggested. She rolled her eyes.
"Humari pyaari Heer jaisi koi bhi nahi hai, Jalal. Kaisi baatein kar rahe hai?"
"Ammijaan, samajhiye hum kya kehna chahte hai. Aapko Heer se itni mohobbat kyuki woh humari zindagi mein roshni si hai. Jiske saath rehkar hume aisa lagta hai ki hum kisi bhi museebat ko paar kar sakte hai. Aapko bhi yahi bharosa hai Heer par. Toh jab aapko koi aisa mil jaaye jise dekh kar aapko aisa lage ki woh bhi saath degi puri imaandari se, use de dijiye."
"Jalal, hum samjhe nahi."
"Ammijaan, hum aapke laadle bete hai. Aur humare baad aapke laadle humare Shehzaade Salim hai jise aap poori tarah bigaad rahi hai. Toh jab aapko koi aisa mile jise dekh kar aapko aisa lage ki woh Salim ke liye dhaal si bane duniya se, use de dein."
"Ammijaan, hume bhi yahi lagta hai. Yeh sahi hai. Aapki bhi baat reh gayi. Aap bhi yahi chahengi ki hum ise humari bahu ko de toh baat wahi ho gayi. Hume de ya humari bahu ko." I agreed with it. I didn't want to hurt her by saying that somewhere deep inside I wished that I could have received it. It was like her blessings.
As much as I remember, she gave it to the next Padshah Begum, Saliha Begum.
