I had written this very same thing on another post but Anupama won’t get the house as the house is not Vanraj’s, it is his father’s house. She will get alimony but Pakhi may not want to move in with her mother wherever Anupama goes (her mom’s place? Devika’s apt?).

Anupama is doing the right thing, in 25 years she has built a relationship with Ba and Bapuji and the kids are in the same house too. Why uproot the kids or be separated from them? The family is as much hers as the house is, why give up her comfort for the spineless cheat?

Anupama does not have to make a statement or prove anything by leaving the house, she will be cutting her nose off to spite Vanraj. He can squirm and deal with the new Anupama while she lives in familiar surroundings amongst people who mean the most to her. She doesn’t need to jeopardize her life and turn everything topsy turvy just because one relationship failed. She has several others that bind her to her home and heart. Her presence is Vanraj’s cross to bear, let him deal with it.

I think they will. Toshu might want his mom to forgive his dad - after all most kids would want their parents to be together and fantasize that all things are miraculously back to normal - and even Pakhi, if following the Marathi version, would want her mom and dad back together but them two wanting the parents together does not make them unsupportive of their mother.

Vanraj doesn’t own the house, Bapuji does so if Vanraj and Anupama got divorced, she would not get (half) the house.

Even if Vanraj owned the house (which he does not going by what Devika told Vanraj that the house was Bapuji’s and she will come to the house until forbidden by Bapuji, and going by the Marathi serial where the father in law wills the house equally to both his son and daughter in law), Anupama would only be entitled to half the house so Vanraj wouldn’t necessarily be kicked out of the house.

Fair enough 🤷🏽‍♀️

Everyone has a different way of dealing with a situation like this, I’m glad Anupama’s way isn’t typical old TV heroine style crying and begging and thinking it’s all her own fault!

I am liking how the show is progressing since THAT episode tbh...

Devika only mentioned this yesterday, so I didn’t know of it when I made that post!

Always assumed the house belonged to Vanraj the way he goes on “mera ghar”, “mera ghar” 😒

Me too, liking the show a lot. I like that Anupama is being strong and called Vanraj’s bluff yesterday demanding he open the door or she will make a tamasha of him.

I didn’t know it was not Vanraj’s house either until I watched the Marathi version plus of course, Devika’s comment. That’s why earlier I had written the house is half Anupama’s not knowing it was Bapuji’s.

Vanraj is just being a chauvinistic pig rubbing it into Anupama’s face that it is his house. Arrogant slimy man.

I love the new Anu 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Vanraj wouldn’t ever admit it but he’s as scared as Kavya... knowing Anu doesn’t care one bit what he thinks anymore, and the fact that she could expose him any time she wants is really getting to him...

Fact is though people like Vanraj/“Vee” don’t deserve even a woman like Kavya, let alone a gem like Anupama... such men deserve to be sad and lonely for the rest of their life tbh

Totally agree. Even though I do not like the way Kavya acted, she is being made a fool of too and being led a merry dance. Vanraj is selfish and does not love Kavya any more than he loves Anupama. You are right, he deserves to be sad and lonely for the rest of his life.
