Because she didn’t have her own parents to defend and protect her! The other 3 had mothers and father to protect them! They targeted her because her own parents had both abandoned her and she was sheltered by unrelated family. She was a charity case hence lower in social status
BP BM were rather ineffective in protecting her from those meaningless taunts though they did protect her from Meenu on many occasions

In his room also he was looking depressed, he knew his budding relationship with Mishti had come to a full stop with Meenu’s Rishta swap as now he’s from the “bad” family and Mishti wouldn’t want anything to do with him!
He liked Mishti a lot and was interested in pursuing her though not so sure of what his feelings meant. He was always a confused guy, so early on he said that earring girl was Kunal’s Bhabhi yet he wasn’t pukka sure he loved Mishti until the fire incident.

But Meenu got the return gift for Kuhu's rejection due to that diversion in the track...
