I can fully understand because I was also a victim of childhood abuse for years and have many triggers , including certain smells etc . I was diagnosed with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder And i said in a previous comment about Eijaz having same due to a traumatic childhood BUT that don give Jasmin any right to bash every male and if Rahul is a trigger for her, BB should get her out that house immediately for her own benefit. This type of psychological issue ( sexual assault/abuse trauma) is not to be ignored at any cost. If she didn’t tell BB during the interviewing stage etc then that was very foolish of her.. Even the way a person looks physically can be a trigger.

No need to throw a hissy fit.

P.S. I am myself a victim of sexual molestation as young as 8 years old, then in my pre-teens one grocery boy tried to grope me as I walked down the stairs not realizing his intentions but as with other kids 25 years back did not dare to tell my mother as I felt I would be blamed. I did walk into that uncle's house whose niece was my friend because he showed me a bag full of chocolates.

The result down the years is that I dont wear sarees at all because I fear that someone would touch me on my neck or stomach and I may get triggered. I avoid shared rickshaws and do not like to be touched unless I know you are about to touch me but if you did unknowingly I will not throw a hissy fit and accuse you of something I know you did not intend to do.

Sorry for the long post, these victim stories are too much. You cannot enter a show like this and talk about being triggered because of incidents. People who are victimized actively avoid the people, places, situations and circumstances they were victimized in or could trigger them.

Last part is spot on , our minds freeze in fight or flight mode and we become wary of certain situations etc . That’s why Eijaz likes to be alone most of the time , he feels safer that way ( I said I a previous comment he also suffers due to abandonment ) but he gets called all sorts of vile names 🤬 . I suffered sexual abuse and rape from 5 years old until I was 16 and it is an everyday battle

I am so sorry you too had to experience such trauma!! I hope you have been able to get on with life and not let these things hold you back in anyway. Always remember they make us who we are but can never define us. We are who we are not because of this but despite of this and can be happy, full of life, thankful and gracious.

I’m doing really well now , still have odd times when I’m really bad but love and support from right people help me thru it. My past made me stronger , in fact I also did a counselling course to help youngsters facing any difficulties on such matters , so that their adult hood don get messed up. People think kids forget everything but once trauma is attaches itself to the mind, it surfaces years later with a simple incident. Thank u for ur kind words

Gud observation 👍

I thought she was just doing drama . But even then, it doesn’t absolve her of her wrong accusations. She’s still guilty .
