Episode 31

"Surprise!!!" Party poppers blasted in Pranati's ears as she saw Maan, Armaan and Riya with cake and balloons. The whole house was decorated and all of them moved towards Pranati to hug her.

"Happy birthday Bhabhi"

Pranati: Thankyou guys . Mera yeh birthday bohot special hai.

Maan: Cake toh kaato

Pranati was brought to the centre table. She blew away the candles on it and cut her cake together with Jugnu. She fed her the first piece of cake and she did the same.

Jugs(innocently): Maa bandar papa ne aapko I love you bol diya na?

Everyone's eyes turned wide as they couldn't understand what was happening. Reyansh covered his face with embarrassment

Jugs: Kya abhi tak nhi kaha? (turning towards Reyansh) bandar papa ab toh bta do, ab toh woh hamare saath rehne wali hai.

She looked around to see everyone trying to hide their laughs.

Jugs: Sab has kyun rahe hai? Bola hai ya nhi

Pranati: Jugnu Jugnu Jugnu, (Grabbing her attention) Bol diya okay?

Jugs: Sachmein? Toh papa aap wahan kyun khade ho, nai maa ko aake cake khilaao.

She got a hold of her father's hand and pulled him to the centre. Reyansh smiled at her daughter and slightly pulled her cheeks. He took a piece of cake and fed it to Pranati. Everyone started hooting in a teasing way.

Rey: Achha achha thheek hai.

They heard a bell ring and Pranati walked to the door to open it. Her smile faded a bit as she saw Archit and Navya at the door. She was indeed really happy to see them but she didn't know how will Reynash react now. This was really not a good time for his out burst.

Navya(giving her a hug): Happy birthday Pranati. Yeh tumhaare liye.

She handed her a gift and went inside to meet others. Pranati stood awkwardly in front of Archit. Reyansh saw this and came behind her.

Rey: Hey what's up. Door pe kyun khada hai, anadar aa na.

Both of them still looked at each other awkwardly. Reyansh thought that this the right time clear the confusion.

Rey: I'm sorry yaar. Main na thoda sa pagal hoon, mujhe na har cheez thodi si late samajh aati hai. Jab mujh jaise pagal ko isse pyaar ho gaya toh tu toh fir bhi insaan hai. (He moved a bit closer to him) Aur waise bhi agar assi munde kudiyan nu pichhe ladaange te bro code tut jaana hai na....

Archit laughed on his last punjabi comment. Reyansh went in for a hug and he happily accepted it. He wished Pranati and came inside.

Pranati: Bade mature ho gaye tum

Rey: Baap bnne ka asar hai aur tu isse shaadi krne wali thi toh kuchh toh baat hogi ismein. I think we'll be good friends. But haan isne agar tujhpe line maarne ki koshish kri toh main apne behaviour ki guarantee nhi loonga.

Pranati(laughing): Okay

Armaan: Arre bina music ke party thodi na hoti hai

Armaan played some music and everyone started dancing. Jugnu pulled her mom and dad in the dance circle and everyone enjoyed. After a lot of dancing, Reyansh ordered food for all of them and they all started eating. Pranati and Reyansh saw Maan and Navya eating together.

Pranati: Lagta hai aaj maan Navya ko apne dil ki baat bta hi dega.

Rey: Mujhe nhi lagta, uska chehra dekh, aisa lag raha hai propose krne se pehle hi reject ho gaya ho.

Armaan(coming from behind): Arre batayega bhai, kyun nhi batayga. Khurrana's ka khoon hai usmein.

Archit: Nhi batayega, bohot baar try kr chuka hai.

Everyone turned towards Archit in shock.

Archit: What? Ofcourse mujhe pta hai. Andha nhi hoon main. Aur mujhe toh lagta hai Navya ko bhi pta hai..woh wait kr rhi hai kab Maan kuchh kahe

Rey: Kaisa phhatu hai hamara bhai.

Pranati: Arre bhai hai tumhara, thoda toh confidence dikhao

They saw Maan coming towards them. They curiously forwarded themselves

Armaan: Tune kuchh bola Navya ko?

Maan: Haan bola na, tabhi toh main yahan aya hoon.

Everyone smiled.

Pranati: Kya bola? Kaise bola?

Maan: Yahi ki bohot der ho gai hai usse ghar jaake rest krna chahiye. Archit agar tumhe rukna nhi hai toh tum hi usse ghar chhod do.

Everyone slapped their hands with their hand.

Rey: Abe itna achha mauka tha, sirf I love you hi toh bolna hai. Itna time kyun laga raha hai?

Maan: Bhai itna easy thodi na hai

Armaan: Tu jitna soch raha hai na usse bohot easy hai.

Archit: Maan tum hi usse ghar chhod do, main thodi der yahin rukta hoon. Tumhe usse baat krne ka time bhi mil jayega

Rey: Haan, ja usse chhod ke aa aur iss baar bta dio.

Maan smiled and nodded his head and walked back to Navya. A few minutes later both of them left.

Archit: Achha Pranati, ab main bhi chalta hoon. Happy birthday once again. (turned towards Reyansh). Congratulations on the new house

Rey: Thanks Man.

Archit also left followed by Armaan and Riya who took Jugnu with them.

Rey: chal ab mere gift ki baari.

Pranati: Ek aur gift? Reyansh tumne aaj waise hi bohot kuchh diya hai mujhe

Rey: Yeh wala thoda special hai. Isliye ankhien bnd kr.

He kept his one hand on her eyes to close it.

Rey: yahin ruk, main abhi ata hoon. Ankhien mt kholna

2 mins later Reyansh asked her to open her eyes and she saw a rectangular thin box covered in a wrapping paper. He helped her to unwrap the box and she took wooden piece from it. It was engraved in a nice font "Jugnu+Pranati+Reyansh"

Rey(nervously): Kaisa laga?

Pranati: Bohot sundar hai Reyansh

Rey: toh fir khudi laga de. Aaja.

He took her hand and walked out of the door with her. She nicely put the name plate on right side of her door. Reyansh slightly slipped his arms around her waist from the back and placed his head on her shoulder.

Pranati: Yakeen nhi ho raha na?

Rey: Bilkul bhi nhi. Jab tu shaadi, bache aur saath mein budde hone ki baat krti thi na, mujhe bohot ajeeb lagta tha. Aur ab jab woh sab kuchh sach ho raha hai toh isse achha maine kabhi feel hi nhi kiya..... I love you

Pranati: I love you too.

He placed a slight kiss on her cheek and then adoringly looked at their new house.

This is exactly what we have been thinking for so long.......PB story continuing in PB style....without melodrama or OTT....just a natural progression of 3 different people becoming a family.....

Episode 32

Reyansh's car stopped in front of Pranati's house. They both got out to have the last conversation of Pranati's special day.

Pranati: Jugnu ki uniform aur books pack krna mt bhoolna.

Rey: Haan. Tujhe pick krne aaon?

Pranati: Nhi main khud aa jaungi.......Thank you Reyansh. Mujhe yaad bhi nai ki maine apna birthday itni achhi tarah kab manaya tha. Meri khushi ke liye aaj tak itna kuchh kisine nhi kiya. Thankyou so much.

Rey: Teri khushi ke liye main isse bhi zyada kr sakta hoon. Per question yeh hai ki tu meri khushi ke liye kya kr sakti hai.

Pranati: Mtlb?

Rey(stepping forward): yahi ki maine tere liye itna kuchh plan kiya, teri favorite jagah per leke gaya, Archit se dosti kr li, ek pura ghar gift kr diya aur tu bas thankyou bolke jaa rhi hai. Return gift toh bnta hai na.

Pranati: Achha thhik hai, btao tumhe kya chahiye?

Reyansh smirked as he pulled Pranati from her right hand and held her waist. Both of them were dangerously close to each other.

Rey: Btaoon ya khud le loon?

Pranati: Reyansh tum kabhi nhi sudhroge

She tried to get away from him but he pulled her again and rotated her to the car and trapped her between his arms.

Rey: Main isse zada sudhar bhi nhi sakta.

His hands slowly slipped his hand on her waist until it reached her back. She flinched on his touch and closed her eyes. He pulled her abruptly towards him as they were inches apart now. He placed his other palm on her left cheek

Pranati: R-R-Rey, maa aa ja-jayeingi

He pretended that he didn't hear her and leaned forward. Pranati started breathing heavily. They were now centimeters apart when Reyansh's face moved upwards and he kissed her forehead. Pranati opened her eyes in shock. He placed his forehead on hers as both of them closed their eyes again.

Rey: Is baar jab tak tu comfortable nhi hogi tab tak kuchh nhi hoga. I'll love you as you want me to. No more, no less

Pranati stayed silent for a while when she finally decided to speak

Pranati: Mujhe samjh nhi aa rha ki main tumhe daant ke samjhaoon ya maar ke..

Rey: huh?

Pranati: Rey pehle bhi TUMSE pyaar krti thi aur aaj bhi. Agar mujhe koi aisa chahiye hota jo mere hisaab se chale toh main tumhari taraf dekhti hi nhi. Tum jo krte ho apni marzi se krte ho, kisi ki parwah nhi krte. Yahi toh tumhari khaas baat hai. Aur yahi Jugnu ki bhi sabse achhi baat hai.

Rey: Toh puri baat ka yeh conclusion nikalta hai, mujhe kiss milegi...

He leaned in again but Pranati kept her hand on his mouth and pushed him back.

Pranati: Tum mehnat krte jao shayad kabhi mil bhi jaye.

She pushed him aside and walked towards her home like she owned the place. Reyansh really liked how Pranati is still shy yet so confident now. And moreover, he liked how she accepts him just how he was. She didn't expect anything from him. But now he was determined to give her everything he could.

Rey(shouting): Subha 10 baje

Pranati(shouting back): Okay

He smiled and sat back in his car.

Rey: Jugnu uniform neeche wale section mein, baaki kappdon ke saath mix nhi krna.

Reyansh was helping Jungu to set her almirah in her new room.

Pranati: Neeche nhi side wali drawer mein

They saw Pranati leaning on the door with a black suitcase smiling at both of them.

Jugs: Nai maa aa gayi...aap hi help kr do, bohot confusion hai.

She shook her head and helped her daughter arranging her cupboard. She then arranged her clothes. Reyansh let them be and went to his room to arrange his stuff.

It was lunch time when they were done making the house their home. Pranati went to kitchen to make lunch for her new little family. She started searching for utensils but couldn't find anything in kitchen.

Rey: Kya hua?

Pranati: Reyansh bartan nhi hai khana kismein bnaoon?

Rey: Furnished flat mein bartan included nhi hote aur hote bhi toh kya bnaati? Groceries nhi hai humaare paas.

"Toh aaj mere haath ka khana kha lo"

They saw Riya coming through the front door followed by Maan and Armaan. They whole heartedly welcomed. Riya knew the situation of the house so she brought plates and other things for them too. They all sat together and had lunch.

Maan: Aaj subha se hum bohot bore ho gaye aap logo ke bina. Main soch raha hoon humme yahan roz lunch krne aana chahiye. Jugnu ka bhi time paas ho jayega.

Pranati: jab mn kare aa jana.

Armaan: Waise bhai hum aapke liye house warming gifts laayein hai. ek minute.

All of them bought boxes with them. Armaan and Maan gave it Reyansh. Reyansh opened it as it's been a while he received any gift.

Rey: Mop aur yeh kya hai? Jhaad. Kaise bhai ho tum?

Maan: Bhai ab naye ghar mein jo kaam aayega wahi toh gift kareinge na.

Rey: Achha...

He picked the broom and ran behind them to beat 'em up. Pranati and Jugnu were laughing seeing them when Riya came to her.

Riya: Didi yeh meri taraf se aapke liye.

Pranati smiled and opened the box to find a beautiful idol of lord Krishna.

Pranati: Bohot sundar hai Riya. Thank you

Riya: Yeh toh kuchh bhi nhi hai didi. Aap toh mere liye dadi ke khilaaf ja rhi thi per maine aapke saath bohot galat kiya.

Pranati: Bilkul nhi Riya, woh waqt hi ajeeb tha. Wahan dekho...(she points towards the three brothers chasing each other)....uss waqt aur iss waqt mein bohot farak hai. Yeh teeno ab apni galti manna seekh gaye hain. I think it's time tumhe bhi maaf krna chahiye

Riya: Mujhe pta hai didi ki Armaan ko apni galti ka ehsaas hai aur woh sudharne ki bohot koshish kr raha hai. Per dadi ke kehne per usne mujhse shaadi kr li, agar kal dadi ne keh diya ki Riya ko divorce dedo aur kisi aur se shaadi kr lo tab kya hoga. Armaan kya krega?

Pranati: Sirf Armaan hi kyun? Jab tum kisi se pyaar krte ho toh tum bina soche samjhe uska saath dete ho. Agar kabhi bhi aisi situation aayi toh kya tum Armaan ka saath nhi dogi? Hum dono jaante hain ki Armaan tumse sach mein pyaar krta hai aur jab tum dono ek dusre se pyaar krte ho toh ek dusre ke liye ladna bhi saath mein.

Riya went into deep thinking.

Pranati: Kya soch rhi ho?

Riya: yahi ki aise hi maaf kr doon ya thode maze le liye jaaye.

Pranati smiled

Pranati: Itna pareshaan kiya hai, thode mazze toh le hi sakte hain

Both of them gave each other a high five.

Episode 33

Pranati: Jugnu ke liye Tiffin box aur bread leni reh gayi.

Reyansh and Pranati went out for house shopping for them, Within ten minutes of shopping Reyansh understood that a house takes a lot more than he ever expected.

Rey: Aur kitna chalna padega yaar Pranati

Pranati: Middle class life ke achhe maze le rahe ho tum.

Rey(he showed the groceries bag that he was carrying): Kuch zada hi.

Pranati: Bas last hai....pakka

She slipped her free hand in his arm and pulled him forwards. Little did she know that Reyansh was enjoying every minute of it. He never experienced these things and doing it with Pranati just doubled the beauty of it. He loved doing everything with her.

Rey: Pranati jaldi khol varna sab yahin gir jayega.

He was holding 2 bags in each hand and a little one with his chin.

Pranati: haan bas ho gaya.

She finally opened the door only to see Jugnu with a mop in her hand. She was cleaning the whole house by herself. Reyansh dropped the little bag under his chin but Pranati caught it in time. They place their bags in one corner and ran towards Jugnu.

Pranati: Jugnu yeh kya kr rhi ho, chhodo isse.

Jugs: Arre ghar bohot ganda tha toh socha saaf kr doon. Maine toh isse bhi bade bade ghar saaf kre hue hain.

Reyansh looked towards Pranati who was about to cry so he decided to step in.

Rey: Arre ninja meri baat sun. Bachpan na seekhne ka time hota hai, kaam krne ka nhi. Arre itni chhoti hai tu, pta hai kitna kuchh seekh sakti hain. Tu koi bhi sport seekh sakti hai, gaana gana seekh sakti hai, cooking, skating, dance, bohot cheezein hai. Yeh safai mein time waste mt kr, yeh main aur teri Nai maa dekh leinge.

Jugs: Main woh seekh sakti hoon, woh jo do lakdiyon aise (moving her hands in air) dham dham dham bjate hain.

Rey: Tujhe drums seekhna hai? Bilkul seekh. Pta hai kitni kam ladkiyan drums bjaati hai? Mujhe bohot achha lagega ki meri beti unmein se ek hain.

Jugnu gave both of them a hug and went back to her room to explore more on her laptop. Pranati stood up from her place started moving towards kitchen. She saw a paper on the dining table. She picked it up and saw that it was Jugnu's custody papers. Her eyes grew sadder.

Rey: Oye kya hua?

Pranati: kuchh nhi

She pretended smile and started to leave again but Reyansh held her hand forced her to turn to him.

Rey: Tujhe pta hain na tu bohot bekar actress hai? Bta kya hua.

Pranati: Bas kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki main shayd achhi maa nhi hoon. Tum kitni aasani se Jugnu ki har zaroorat ko samjh jaate ho. Usse kab kya kaise baat krni hai sab jaante ho aur main kuchh nhi kr paati. Achhi maa toh kya main toh ab legally bhi uski maa nhi rhi.

Rey: Hey aisa kuchh nhi hai. Tu jaanti bhi nhi Jugnu tujhse kitna pyaar krti hai. Jab court mein tune uski custody give up kri thi, ro ro ke bura haal ho gaya tha uska. Usse jitni teri zaroorat hai utni shayd tujhe bhi uski nhi hai. Aur Jahan tak legal documents ki baat hai, mere paas uske liye ek Idea hai. Chal mere saath.

He slightly took her hand and pulled her out of the house and towards the lift.

Pranati: Tum mujhe kahan leke jaa rahe ho?

Rey:Terrace

Pranati: Reyansh tumhe pta hai na mujhe heights se kitna darr lagta hai.

Rey: Arre yar main bullet proof jacket pehnna bhool gaya.

Pranati: Reyansh!!!

Rey: Achha achha sorry, (Moving a bit closer in a hushed voice) Just trust me, kuchh nhi hone dunga main.

With every floor Pranati's grip on his hand tightened. They finally reached the terrace.

Pranati: Reyansh yahan toh bohot andhera hai, vapus chalte hain na.

Suddenly Reyansh left her hand and disappeared into dark.

Pranati: Reyansh! Reyansh! Dekho yeh mazak ka time nhi hai. Agar tum koi prank kr rhe ho toh yeh bohot bura prank hai.

Pranati started shivering due to fear. When her eyes blinded by sudden light. She blinked a few times to get used to it when she finally saw the whole terrace decorated with fairy lights. There was a little fountain in the centre with a garden around it.

She moved towards the fountain as it was so mesmerising. As she got closer she saw the wall behind it clearly as it was blurred by the water coming out of fountain. And that was the best moment of her life, the moment she saw those four words beautifully written on the wall with Lights. Will you marry me?

An arm came from behind with hand in front of her face. That hand was holding a beautiful ring in red velvet box. She turned around to see Reyansh smiling at her. He slowly sat on his one knee still holding the ring in front of her.

Rey: Pta hai, Thodi der ho gai na? Thodi nhi bohot der ho gayi. Pure 9 saal. Mujhe shayad pehle bhi pta tha ki tu mere liye hi bni hai aur maine uss feeling ko ignore kra. Per aaj Pranati, main baap bhi bnne ke liye tyaar hoon aur husband bhi. Will you be my wife?

Reyansh expected that Pranati would be really surprised and extremely happy with everything he did for her. She would jump in his arms screaming 'Yes' but she started crying badly. He worriedly stood up and cupped her face.

Rey: Kya hua Pranati? I'm sorry agar tujhe kuchh bhi galat laga ho. Bhool ja jo kuchh bhi hua ho. Kuchh nhi badla.

Pranati hugged him tightly and cried more.

Pranati: Haan Rey

Rey: Kya haan?

Pranati: Tumhe mujhse shaadi krni hai ya nhi?

He slowly pulled out of the hug to finally see Pranati smiling brightly through her tears.

Rey: Ofcourse krni hai, per tu itna royegi toh main nhi kroonga.

She left out a cute giggle and wiped her face.

Pranati: Ek problem hai, tum mujhe ring nhi pehna sakte.

Rey: Kyun?

Pranati lifted her hand to show that his ring from their fake engagement was still on her hand. He looked at his hand and one was there too. He slowly grabbed her hand and pulled out the old ring from her finger and put it on her ring finger of other hand.

Rey: Jab yeh ring pehnai thi na tab mujhe pta nhi tha yeh din bhi kabhi aayega. Per yeh wali ring (Showing the new one) Isse jab maine dekha tha toh mujhe pta tha, ki iski jagah sirf yahan per hai.

He slowly slid of the new ring in the ring finger of her left hand. He placed a soft kiss just above the ring on her knuckles.

Rey: Thankyou

Pranati: Kyun?

Rey: Haan kehne ke liye, maine toh kabhi socha bhi nhi tha ki main shaadi kroonga aur yeh dekh (he said showing the terrace), I actually proposed you. Pranati we are gonna get married!!!!

He excitedly lifted her up from her waist and rotated her around.

Pranati: Reyansh neeche utaro mujhe, hum bohot height per hain.

Rey: Ok ok sorry.

He placed her back down and she immediately hugged him gripping his shirt tightly.

Rey: Pranati Pranati voh dekh.

He pointed down from the terrace. Pranati accidently followed his directions and closed her eyes again.

Pranati: Reyansh!!!!

She shouted and gripped his shirt more tightly and sulked her face in his chest. He laughed on her cute antics and wrapped his arms around her. He kissed her hair and wondered how lucky he is to get a girl like her.

Episode 34

Both of them came down with Reyansh still holding her hand in which she was wearing his brand new ring.

Rey: Ek baat puchhun?

Pranati: Hmm?

Rey: Tu itna royi kyun? Mera proposal itna bura tha kya?

Pranati: Nhi. It's just that jab hum college mein the, maine yeh moment bohot baar imagine kiya tha, aur sach btaun toh mujhe laga tha main ghutne per baithhke tumhe propose kroongi kyunki tum toh krne hi nhi waale the.

Rey: Seriously?

Pranati: Haan. Aur yeh sab jab sach mein hua aur tumne kiya toh bas aansu aa gaye. Waise tumne meri imagination se achha kiya.

Rey: Per meri imagination mein toh humne isse bohot zada kiya hua hai.

He moved closer and rubbed his nose near her ear.

Pranati: Tum na Reyansh, tumhara dimag ek hi jagah chalta hai.

Rey: Ab kisi ko toh chalana padega na, tu toh chalane se rhi.

He rubbed his nose this time in her neck. She quickly left his hand ran towards her home. Her duppatta was flying behind her while Reyansh tried to catch it. She quickly entered the house and started running around while Reyansh was chasing her. He finally got caught of her wrist and pulled her close.

Pranati: Reyansh ek minute meri baat suno.

Rey: Bilkul nhi, tu phir bhaag jaayegi

Pranati: Promise nhi bhaagoongi, chhodo mujhe.

Rey: Nhi, jo bolna hai aise bol

Pranati: Tumhe nhi lagta humme Jugnu se pehle poochhna chahiye

Rey: Tu kiss krne se pehle Jugnu se poochhegi? 8 saal ki bachi hai woh.

Pranati: Nhi Reyansh, shaadi ke baare mein. Humara yeh decision usse bhi affect krta hai.

Rey: Tujhe pta hai na woh bohot khush hogi?

Pranati: Hum usse bina baat kre decide nhi kr sakte. Shaadi ke baad bohot kuch change ho jata hai. Kya pta Jugnu aise hi bohot khush ho?

Rey: Achha thheek hai, chal abhi bta dete hain.

He took her hand and moved towards Jugnu's new room only to see Jugnu sleeping cutely. Her ear phones fell down from her ear on her shoulder while a female drummer's video was playing on the laptop.

Reyansh leaned on the side of the door adoring his daughter. Pranati slowly kept her head on his shoulder and encircled her hands around her daughter.

Rey: Thank you Pranati.

Pranati: Thankyou kis liye?

Rey: Tujhe yaad hai maine ek baar kaha tha mujhe ek beti chahiye jo mujh jaise nalayk baap ko sudhaar de?

Pranati: Haan

Rey: Thankyou mujhe woh beti dene ke liye.

Pranati: uss beti ne apna kaam bohot achhe se kiya hai. Jugnu ki wajah se hum saath hain

Rey: Jugnu ki wajah se hum saath hain aur khush hain.

They both looked at each other smiling in the same position. He kissed her forehead and moved forward to place jugnu on bed in the right place. They closed her laptop and placed it aside. He tucked Jugnu in and place a kiss on her forehead as well. He said his goodnight to Pranati and went back to his room. But sleep was far away from both the love birds.

Episode 35

Pranati woke up late due to less sleep last night. She was making breakfast and lunch for Jugnu. She was rushing like hell when a sleepy Reyansh hugged her from the back.

Rey(sleepily): Good morning

Pranati: Kuchh zada hi khush lag rahe ho

Rey: Haan kyunki aaj subha maine kuchh realise kra

Pranati: Kya?

Rey: Ki ab main tujhe hakk se Prani bula sakta hoon. Prani! Prani! Prani! Prani! Prani!

He shouted it in her ear, squeezing her more.

Pranati: Stop it Rey. mujhe kaam krne do, varna Jugnu late ho jayegi.

Rey: Koi help chahiye?

Pranati: tumhe sabjiyan kaatni aati hai?

Rey: Nhi aati toh seekh lete hain, waise maine master chef bohot dekha hai.

Pranati: Tum master chef kyun dekhte the?

Rey: Jitna lagta hai usse zada interesting hai, kabhi dekhio mere saath.

Pranati: Okay. Waise Mr. Master chef, abhi aap sabjiyan TV dekhke kaatoge ya main sikhaaoon?

Rey: Nhi abhi main tujhse kaam chala loonga.

Pranati shook her head amusingly and showed him how to cut vegetables. Reyansh slowly caressed her arm to her hand holding a knife. Pranati blushed on his touch but continued teaching him. He repeated the same action her other arm until he was back hugging her again. He blew air on her neck as she closed her eyes tightly.

Her hands automatically stopped. He placed a soft kiss on the nape of her neck. Her face tensed up and grip on the knife tightened. Reyansh slowly pulled the clutcher that was holding her hair up all this while, her long hair landed on her back as well as on Reyansh's face. He removed his right hand from hers as he pushed her hair on one side. He was about kiss her bare shoulder when she suddenly turned around showing the knife she was holding basically threatening him.

Rey: Oye yeh kya kr rhi hai?

Pranati: Tum na mujhe kaam nhi krne doge, jao jaake ke jugnu ko jagao aur school ke liye ready kro, kitchen ka kaam main sambhaal loongi

Rey: Arre main help krta hoon na

Pranati: Nhi! (pointing the knife more towards him) tum sirf time waste kroge.

Rey(putting up his hand in surrender position): Okay okay jaa raha hoon. Tu yeh chhod bas.

He slowly pulled out knife from her hand and kept it on table. He back walked out of the kitchen as Pranati continued her work. She suddenly felt a kiss on her cheek to which she opened her eyes in shock.

Rey: I love you

He quickly said and ran to Jugnu's room. He could hear Pranati yelling his name in frustration.

Rey: Chal ninja get up, get up, get up.

Jugs: Bandar papa, aaj toh chhuti hain na

Rey: Beta chhuti kal thi, aaj school hai. Uthh ja varna tujhe pta hai main kya kroonga.

He showed her the tickling fingers and she quickly got up.

Rey: Good girl. Brush krke naha le, main teri uniform nikal deta hoon.

She cutely nodded her head and walked inside the washroom rubbing her eyes. Rey opened her cupboard and pulled out her uniform.

Maan entered the new house.

Maan: Good morning bhabhi

Pranati: Good morning Maan, Tum itni jaldi kaise uthh gaye?

Maan: Bhabhi woh main...

Rey(entering): Prani main shayad...

Maan: Jugnu ka school bag ghar bhool gaya?

Reyansh turned towards his brother's voice and saw him carrying Jugnu's bag.

Rey: Thanks yar, varna teri bhabhi toh mujhe maar hi daalti.

Pranati: Haan uska example tumhaare bhai ne abhi thodi der pehle hi dekha hai.

She referred to the knife incident few minutes back.

Maan: Aisa kya kiya bhai aapne?

Rey(turning towards Pranati): Bta doon?

Pranati: Koi zaroorat nhi hai. Yeh sab chhodo, Maan tum breakfast krke jaana.

Maan: Sure. Waise aapki advice Armaan ko bohot bhaari padd rhi hai.

Pranati(giggling): Riya ne apna kaam shuru kr diya?

Rey: Yeh kya code word mein baatein kr rahe ho, mujhe bhi btao.

Pranati: Riya Armaan se revenge le rhi hai.

Maan: Riya bhabhi ne Armaan ko pura "Joru ka ghulam" bnaake rakha hua hai. Aur Armaan guilt ke chakkar mein unki har baat maan bhi raha hai.

Jugs: Papa socks nhi mil rhi!

Jugnu shouted from her room and everyone smiled. Rey and Maan moved towards her room and helped her get ready. Pranati saw maan carrying Jugnu in his arms and playfully placing her down on the breakfast table. Everyone sat down and had the breakfast that Pranati made for all of them.

All the time Maan was entertaining everyone with stories of Riya and Armaan.

Rey: Chal ninja time ho gaya.

Maan: It's okay bhai, Jugs ko main raaste mein chhod dunga, aap bhabhi se thodi aur maar kha lo

He winked and gave a hi five to Jugnu.

Rey: Ha ha, ab isse pehle main tere aur Navya ke baare mein shuru ho jaun, mere ghar se nikal ja.

Maan: achha ja raha hoon bhai, bye bhabhi

Pranati waved both Maan and Jugnu and they left.

Rey: Bolne mein kitna maza ata hai na, "mera ghar se nikal ja". Dadi ki saari baatein ab justified lag rhi hai.

Pranati: Tum aur tumhari backwas Reyansh khurrana.

She said cleaning up the kitchen while Reyansh washed the dishes.

Rey: Mujhe 9 baje nikalna hai, thoda late ho sakta hai aane mein

Pranati: Meri bhi meeting hai investors ke saath 10 baje, jaipur wali cancel ho gayi.....ek minute, tum kahan jaa rahe ho?

Rey: Job hunting

Pranati: Tum, the Reyansh Khurrana, logon se orders loge?

Rey: Ho gaya? Mujhe laga ab humara khud ka ghar hai toh mujhe job krni chahiye. Ghar per baithhke aur karoonga bhi kya?

Pranati: Yakeen nhi ho raha tum itne badal gaye ho. Kabhi kabhi mujhe puraane Rey ki bohot yaad aati hai.

Rey: Achha?

Pranati: Haan, woh irresponsible, carless, football captain Rey. Jiske liye risk lena hi life thi. Mujhe yaad bhi nhi kitni baar tum mujhe class bunk kraake date per leke gaye the.

Rey: Oh please! usse date mt bol. Hamesha main tujhe convince krta tha aur tu guilt mein date per bhi padti thi aur mujhe bhi padhati thi....And when I come to think of it, hum kabhi real date per gaye hi nhi. College bunk krke toh dekh liya aur uske baad ka tera curfew.

Pranati: sach mein?

Rey: Haan..you know what? humme date per jaana chaihye

Pranati: Reyansh hum 18 saal ke nhi hai

Rey: Arre toh kya hua? (moving closer to her and holding both of her hands) Mujhe meri fiancee ke saath date per jaane ke liye 18 saal ke hone ki zaroorat nhi hai. So Pranati Mishra kya aap meri wife bnne se pehle date per chalna chaheingi?

Pranati: Agar main haan kahoon toh tum harr roz bartan saaf kroge?

He smiled and kissed her hands.

Rey: Sabjiyan bhi kaatoonga, tu kahe toh master chef wali dishes bhi bnaoonga

She giggled and gave him a hug. He again tried to be more romantic but she pushed him away.

Pranati: Agar tum abhi nahane nhi gaye toh late ho jaoge. Jao!!

He made a sad pout and left to take a bath while Pranati started collecting her files for presentation.
