Saathiya 2 that makers should have gone for....

Makers could have brought a sheer ultramodern Saathiya 2 which could have simply raised the bar of the infamous Saathiya 1.

Modi family could have been a little different but Kokila, Hetal, Urmilla could been constant. Their looks could have been modern and characterization could have been of today's age.

Kokila could have been a successful businesswoman who had won many awards. Her character could have been much more modern with layers. Her styling in more stylish sarees.

Gopi, completely different persona. She could have been ultramodern who likes to live life on her own terms and condition. More ambitious and sensible. Her styling could have been sexier.

Ahem's character could have been more of a attractive chocolate boy who is in love with Gopi but Gopi isnt, she is more focussed on setting up her career.

Urmilla could have played Gopi's mom who is smart and sly at the same time.

The sets could have been more modern. The camera angles and bgms could have been different.

Story could have been like -

Kokila wants a perfect DIL for her son and the one who can manage her business. She choose Gopi for Ahem whom Ahem likes a lot. Gopi is Kokila's business partner's daughter here. Kokila and Gopi meets each other where Gopi turns down Kokila's proposal and tells her about her ambition. She tells her that she want to set up her own business. Kokila gets salty and refuses to get Ahem married to Gopi. On the other hand, unaware of Kokila's knowledge Ahem starts helping Gopi in her start up. The story that revolves around career, family and love. This could have been an almost perfect Saathiya season 2. 😒

Just imagine the trp and popularity then.
