I think that's Vishal's personal ring. He has probably got engaged. And CVs didnt bother to ask him to take it off as ring is not always a mark of marriage in Hindu culture.

Right now all his plans are going for a toss ,chip is gone and he feels his pawn is gone too so he’s using the trick of again making her emotional and vulnerable .Now that will again go for a toss
