Abir Meenu confrontations start right away

He was so right about fixing Ketu’s Rishta so arbitrarily. But Ketu got emotionally blackmailed by Fui And look what happened

BB and her parivar ka Pyar chants, she never cared for them only wanted to control them!

Abir got so mad when BB said she doesn’t run away from her responsibilities, Abir knew she was hinting he was like Mehul since he’s always escaping from home. Meenu

Meenu plays her cards so cunningly back home, doesn’t let Abir speak to the Parekhs, interrupts him everytime and guilt trips him into silence by repeatedly mentioning that she was abandoned by her husband inspite of a love marriage and then citing Mamu Mami arranged marriage as the ideal one so Ketu accepts her goddhana following her parents example. Uff what an expert manipulator Meenu is! Maan na padega! 👏

When Meenu plays her A game even Abir gets defeated.

Btw does anyone else wonder if rhea and shah are theater actors or have done theater before? Because the way they play all these scenes, all nuances of those characters right from the start, I have seen and heard only theater people do that so well. 😎 I think rupal ji is one and I know mohit/jugnu and sanjeev/mamu are.

Rhea started with modeling and so did Shaheer. Don’t think they ever did theater. The director is very good, probably he guided them and added those little nuances right from the start which firmly established the characters.

End tak BM was closest to her. If BM hadn’t allowed Mish to escape on her wedding day she wouldn’t reunite with Abir. BP was forcing her to marry Nannu even though he knew very well she still loved Abir and both wanted to reunite.

Meenu was one cunning lady, it was almost impossible to defeat her (until mishti came along 😆)

If I hadn't known about mehul's story, would have thought her husband is actually not at fault here, matching Abir's thoughts and seeing it from his POV. Abir's and nanu's helplessness in that scene was so nicely done 👍🏼

But wasn't BP being a protective father here? Who in his right mindset would let his daughter be in a house, where her would-be mother in law openly threatened him? Even in later episodes, he has a dialogue which I find very impactful, "resham ko aag se dur rakha jaata hain mishti, aag main jhoka nahi jaata. Aur aap resham ho aur meenakshi ji aag" 👍🏼 he was utterly protective of her and was just trying to keep her away from that lady

IMO both BM-BP loved mishti equally but they were protecting her in their own ways. Both ways have their own pros and cons

BM wanted to protect mishti from society's taunts hence she tried to convince mishti to stop the pre-marital courtship with kunal and get engaged. Whereas BP tried to protect from dragon lady meenu because he had seen how low she can stoop. He knew Abir loves mishti but somewhere also knew that abir left mishti because of meenu

Yeah later she took it from Abir’s room but in episode 2 she takes the jhumka from the dressing room and they don’t show her putting it back so I was wondering how Mishti was wearing them at the temple 😆

Those jhumkas keep on falling everytime 😆
