She remembered those bitter words that she heard from the love of her life. That was when her entire life turned upside down. Hearing those harsh words from someone whom she thought was her entire world, broke her more than anything. She knew that he said those things only to bring her back on track and make her focus on her career rather than just him... but wasn't it her choice? It should have been her choice to either be his wife and spend the rest of her life looking out for him, or to focus on her career think about settling down later. But, turns out that he made her choice for her. And he did so, because he would be ashamed of her if she decided to just become a housewife. But, little did he know that his plan would backfire in such a way that she would have a very successful career, but never come back to him?

He hated himself for what he had done to her. He really wanted her to grow in life, have a successful career, rather than just focus on him. But, he didn't realize that she made the choice to stay with him herself and was content with it. And he took that choice away from her... when he shattered her world, her dreams... and herself. And he could do nothing to undo the damage.

"Swayam aur main kabhi bhi ek couple nahi the aur naa hi ban sakte hain."
She hated herself for uttering those words. Hell, for even thinking of it. How could she do that to him? She loved him... she loved him so much that words couldn't explain it. But for that one brief moment, she let her ego consume her. And that brief moment probably destroyed her entire possibility of a happily ever after with him. How could she ever win over his trust now?

"Dude... stop forcing yourself on Sharon. Uske saath misbehave karna bandh karo."
Those few words that she uttered just shattered him to pieces. For a few minutes, he was just blank. How could she do that to him? He thought she loved him back. But if she really did love him, how could she put his character in question? Well, this was probably not the first time Sharon insulted him in front of the entire college... but this was the first time, she made everyone question his character. And it hurt a bit too much because she pretended to love him.
