I get your point but maybe he was just being considerate to Nikki cos she was his friend few hours ago? He doesn’t come across a person who will be aggressive to anyone unless provoked. He’s a leader now and has to ensure order amidst all chaos. He listened to Ruby, took her advice and that’s a good quality to have IMO.

Baaki how he would be as a captain is to be seen and surely we’ll know in the coming days but right now, he looked like the best pick out of the lot to me.
