once they both are in love, there might still be hesitancy as they come close to proper confession...ahana is likely to bring out saransh mom angle. It might not hurt Rudra...but it could threaten to break sarnash so they could be forced to take a step back and focus on him. the not way around it is if there one of the them is close to dying...then confession will happen....of course they will survive. ...

That's gonna happen for sure for Rudra to realise that she even ready to sacrifice her life for him.

Also, if in case mental is alive she will be keeping an eye on Preesha and will try to attack her indirectly.

She will not come face to face but will still put under deadly attack. Her dialogue will make sense that time that those who hurt hers and dead.

Seeing this attacks on Preesha, Rudra will definitely remember her words and who else then mental will be after Preesha's life.

Of course, this will not happen immediately but when they are in middle of investigation.

When Rudra will be in a phase where he is questioning himself on one side, watching her risking her life for him and thirdly a hint that mental might be alive ....
