The title of the franchise is Naagin but in this season, they are mainly tracing the origin of enmity between Naagvansh and Cheelvansh, a Cheel daring to love his mortal foe - so this season is as much about the Cheel as the Naagin ! Bani's characterisation needs to be worked upon - Shivanya, Shivangi, Bela & Brinda too had revenge on their minds but they never came across as annoying or irritating or mundane like Adi Naagin, Bani. The characterisation needs improvement, and then makers can focus on unravelling the mystery gradually.
I agree. Bani's character started off with very dull. I did not see anything in her which gave me Naagin vibes. But when she slowly started adapting to her Naagin persona, she has become more bratty, insensitive, arrogant, and opinionated. Her expressions are also tedious. Infact, in her interactions with Mayuri, I find Mayuri better than her. It is so odd, that with Naagin being the heroine, I feel sad and piteous for Mayuri, Veer, and the entire Cheel clan, where technically two of them are real villains. I am not being able to root for Bani, inspite of being a heroine. Either she is always angry, or she is always confused. I am simply bored with Bani, really.
