I understand it is not about the nicest person but more of survival of the fittest but if you look at past winners in Tamil (haven't watched it in any other language), it is not the one who can think spontaneously/do the tasks successfully but the one who was more just/correct. Otherwise, Yashika should've been the winner in Season 2 and not Riythvika. And Mugen definitely wasn't the most spontaneous thinker in BB3.
I don't find him genuine. The person he is trying to portray himself as in BB is apparently not how he is in real life (as per what I had heard of him from others on some YT channels from few).. . Let's leave that aside as it is outside the BB house. He does not lie but he doesn't tell the full truth either (as per SM, this is strategy). When he told Bala about Sanam telling him not to wash his clothes in sink, he never said the full thing. He wanted Bala to pick a fight, there is no denying that. There was no need for him to tell Bala at that point because he had already asked Aari.
Backbiting can vary from person to person. Not everyone is going to do it the same way. Suresh is doing it too.. talking to Bala about Aari, or talking to Sam about Sanam. (Today itself he brought Sanam when he was trying to make Sam react). When he is confronted, depending on who the person is - he reacts. If it is someone who can easily be confused and blamed for something else e.g. Sanam/Anitha, then he accepts. IF it's someone like Aari (who clearly knows what he wants to ask about), then he leaves the place or says I don't remember exactly.. The same person, who remembered what he told Anitha, said he doesn't remember what he said to KH about Aari...I don't believe it. He buys himself time to think and turn things around..
When Rio and Nisha are together, he cried groupism and how they are against him.. but he has formed a group - Bala, Gaby, Aajeedh and Samyuktha. If he does it, it's fine but when others do it, it's wrong.
Saying everything on face - yes he does, but that's his technique to prove himself as this innocent outspoken person. It's his strategy to make sure that no one calls him cunning - he can easily back himself "I've said it myself la". Just because someone says everything out, it doesn't make it right nor fix the damage it has caused.
He is good at tasks though, there is no denying that but BB house is not just about the tasks, it's also about how you mingle with 15 other people from different backgrounds.
Real life - yes there are.. but it doesn't make them someone to look up to..
