Yeah it is ironical, but what makes sense in today's time is Veer asking her "Tumne soch bhi kaise liya ke main tumhe chot pohochaaunga". That is a man of today's time

This seems more like an episode in sawdhan india where wife wants to file divorce based on physical assault and to file a false case using dowry as a reason and husband with extra patience want to avoid hitting wife 😄just kidding 😆
