Hi sweethearts❤️
From many days I was thinking about writing something on Rudhita. It was eventual to finally pen it down. I know I chose the dark-times to write on them, especially when my title clearly indicates that this one is going to be a dark one..😆
Don't worry, I am very much a Rudhita fan and won't let the dark title ruin your expectations. I have something in my bucket which will blow your mind😉( or so I hope🤪)
Rudhita have made me think about things which I never imagined, yes they made me realise that platonic love exists in drama... Okay in real life I have had experienced it but in drama, without having a single scene or closeness( or must I say there's hardly any scope for that, not that I am complaining😆) it still has gripped half the world in it's awe! The innocence is so beautifully shown that it has swept me off my feet long ago!
Well I just realised that I talk so much!! What a chatter box!
So now without further ado here is the first part.😃
Enjoy!😉

SS
Prologue
Love is most important for most of us, people have died for love in past and it still remains a sanctum of true feelings. But sometimes love can make people do terrible things. Things which should have never happened, things which make them regret and feel ashamed. But they still do it for they believe in the notion that every thing is fair in love. However they don't understand that it's not love which is making them do it, rather it is the facade of love which makes them commit a crime so big that it's hard to turn back and make things right!
In a small village
A yard of the small house was decorated in a very simple way, Mandapam was put up and holy fire was burning. A very young bride of 10 to 11 years was getting married to a boy of about 19 to 20 years. It seemed to be a small and simple event on the boy's side. The close knit family of four were present from his side, while only bride's aunt and elder sister were part of the ceremony.
The girl was wearing traditional red banarsi saari with minimal jewelry to match it and bangles and Shaka pola. The event finished within an hour and the bride groom proceeded to take the blessing.
The boy, immediately pulled away the mukut and thrusted it in the a tall man's hands and said with anger, " are you happy now? I did what you asked me... But baba I will never grace this relation with acknowledgement. This.." he waved his hand around and continued" whatever happened here means nothing to me... Did you hear it... I love Mini... And I dont recognise this event. It's nothing for me but only a game that you and kaka played." And saying that he stormed out of the place.
"Binoy! Do you think we did the right thing?" Asked a man in late 40s doubtfully looked at the back of the boy who just left.
" Why do you think so much dada, it was important. I could have lost him... U know I don't believe in any superstitions but I cannot gamble, not when my son is involved! He will be alright." And pushed his speck up the bridge of his nose and gave lopsided smile towards his son's retreating back.

The bidai ceremony completed and the young girl travelled towards her destiny and her new home, with her in-laws.
Her eyes sparkled as looked at the motor car, which she had never seen and asked about it to her in laws who happily obliged to explain. And thus the journey started smoothy towards her new life.
