Anirudh - an emotional man, a hero in making

I read Anirudh getting lot of backlash from many viewers to the point that people think Bon is better off without him. Reason Anirudh not being firm with Mini, for being gullible, a fool and I dare say more than any of his faults, it's the ardent love viewers have for Bondita.

I accept that sometimes I do get disappointed with him or scratch my head for him being impulsive and emotional. Then I remind myself if Anirudh had not been impulsive and emotional, he wouldn't have married Bon in the first place. I firmly believe that if Bon had been a man and was in Ani's place, she would have come up with some jugaad to save a little girl's life rather than getting into a marriage. That's where they differ and I like Anirudh here.

There is a difference between wanting to be a revolutionary and actually being a revolutionary. The difference between a wish and a reality. Anirudh is in the transition stage where he is failing, falling and learning to be better. Bon's driving force is her tarq, whereas Anirudh is his empathy, to strongly feel for something.

He is extremely guilty right now, desperate to save Bondita because his actions landed her in grave trouble. He wants to save her, apologize to her and protect her at all costs. That is love, yes but not the kind that exists between husband and wife.

He had dreams of marrying Mini, maybe a teenage crush and thought it was love. It took him sometime but he is out of that zone completely now. But that doesn't mean he will stop being concerned towards her or care for her especially when he feels he broke her heart, let her down and she is still trying to support him. He is feeling uncomfortable with her proximity, is awkward around her. That's the first major step.

I don't think he is two timing them or cheating Bon in any way. Him oscillating between the two, giving preference to Bon slowly over Mini are a very natural phenomenon. Ani being confused is totally relatable. But what matters is he is learning from his mistakes and trying to do right by Bon. Bon might be in trouble because of him but his life is no less a mess. He is trying to do right by everyone and if Binoy and Mini had been good, it would have been a easier journey. Now, he is learning all by himself.

And such things take time and I think this transition of Anirudh is very realistic. Anirudh for me is a man who is emotional, gullible, impulsive but a hero in making. A man who gets easily manipulated by his loved ones, who takes impulsive decisions and regrets his actions later but a hero who accepts his mistakes and works his ass off to rectify them. A man who genuinely respects and cares for every woman around him.

Bondita may not need Anirudh, she might be a star who can burn on her own and carve her own path.

I would personally feel proud to have a man like Anirudh in my life in any form, be it brother, friend or a husband. For me, he is a hero irrespective of Bondita.

Being impulsive and emotional defines him , he isn't aware of his country and his surroundings.! Anyone in his place would react that way..! It doesn't have to be compared with his studies and using his brain.

Both Ani and Bon is totally different but their thought process matches alot.

Yes if bon where in his place , she could have easily helped that girl without marrying.! But Anirudh always thinks straight.!

And yeah wanting to be a revolutionary and actually being a revolutionary is total different things. Ani wants to be a revolutionary but he has to change alot for that and he is slowly moving to that process.! It will take more time.

About mini, he is already out of her zone when he accepted bon as his wife and Dharm. Definitely he is not two timing and cheating ki toh baat hi nahi.! He informs every single thing to bon inspite of knowing she can't understand much. But still he says everything about him and expected same thing from bon.😳

Both of them need eachother.!

Bondita need Anirudh aswell as Anirudh need Bondita to be complete❤️

Gave me a whole new perspective to the way I understand Aniruddh. I agree with your character analysis of Ani, he is emotional, he is gullible but he's genuine, and I love ARC for the same. Yes he is a hero in making. No jute or rotten tomatoes but only hugs and pyaar. 🤗

you have explained anirudh beautifully. most of us know this deep down but we don't acknowledge all this characteristics of him. he is a human being but we thought him more than that.

i think bondita will agree with your last line, not the rotten tomatoes one 🤣 before that about being proud of ani. bon is extremely proud of ani without knowing how he saved her life.

So glad to see a post in favour of Anirudh ❤️ Glad to know that there are people who understands him. I completely blame his fate that he has got such family n friends who cares less about him The only good thing on his fate is Bondita ❤️ however good thing doesn't happen without challenges.

I would say, if today Bondita is alive that's because of only one person Anirudh Roy Chowdhury. Bondita is much more intelligent, she has presence of mind still she can't survive alone in the era of 1915 that's practically impossible. I am not underestimating Bondita just stating the fact. Anirudh is no God he is a flawed human being who is still learning.....

He clearly has no romantic feelings for Saudamini now that's so obvious but we can't expect him to be rude with her, afterall she is his childhood friend, I have seen him doubting on Mini be it for a second or so but he doubted. His priorities are changing from Mini to Bondita....

I completely loved whatever you say about Ani-Bon marriage, it's due to his impulsive nature only he ended up marrying her, Anirudh has always been a man with extreme emotions...

I am so happy that u wrote this post. I can feel and connect to every line u said about Ani. U have exceptionally brilliantly described Anirudh's character n his current state, with utmost precision. Of course like u said, even i get angry on some of his actions, but i guess the amount of backlashes he receives sometimes go overboard 😅. Yeah i know it is more because everyone loves Bondita and Anirudh as well and want him to use his barrister brain, sometimes we should keep in mind that his life is already a mess and is learning from his mistakes. Both of them have a completely different character and nature individually. They're brilliant in their own and complement each other as well.

May be this the best thing I saw today on IF.. agree to all the lines at level infinity.. People just backlashing him without understanding his depth..

Actually Aniruddh is a person who never did something under pressure.. In initial episode when society and kaka forcing bondita on him as wife, he was so irritated.. but as soon as he came to know that she's the patrawali girl, he accepted her.. Now too everyone is forcing mini on him.. So he's so chidchida with her.. & when mini's truth disclose may be he'll refuse to see her face too.. coz banda dil se sochta hain aur dil ka hi karta hain..
