Chapter 7 "Demon's Nightmare"

"What the hell"?..

A gasp escape from the mouth of Sujan as a sharp naked blade placed over his neck, by front staring up at front with wide eye in surprise he waited to hear the reason.

"Didn't we told you about the Atrocities commited by Tyrrant Adham"?. Then why you went to fort"?."Are you trying to sold the information to him"?...

"We hardly know anything to convey him"!..

They're indeed loyal to her, it was clear to him as well Jalal who step behind him with Jodha. It was kanika who has her sword placed over his neck. Jodha stared at the happening in amusement. Where's Jalal sigh inwardky with thought if people could be this possesive of Angel of Death she will be definitely a living nightmare for those who intent to hurt her people. For instance he look back at Jodha but then heard Kanika words.

"But you will be under the watch of us Sujan"!..we don't want any risk for "Angel of death"!.."And What you received there"?..

(The conversation between Kanika and Sujan was going on and on, but Jalal who heard Aziz words grow confused, smell of alcohol hm right Adham is known drunker but only men"? No women"? Thinking Inwardly he glance around but Jodha was nowhere in the hut. She was out standing near the tree lost in past.

Hearing the noise from outiside the cave ,her head was exploding with the strong headache. clutching it dizzily Jodha stirred and get up. Pain of losing her parents, Deceit from the one she trusted. Most importantly the self-realization nothing left for her, How the army will step inside plunder rob and slay the people. How the flag of enemy will hoist in the Fort. How her people will suffer under enemy's Authority. All of it left her deeply grieved, not even the tear slid out of her eye. As the flashes of, fire flames engulfing her parents body cross her mind. Clutching over the rock, she pick up her sword wore her tunic and walked out.

"What's happening"?.

"Your highness we assume the crown prince will come along with Adham khan"!.."but He left from Sambhar"!.

The information gave base to bewildering storm of queries in heart but she ignored it and just nodded curtly. It was night by now, she walk further, Saw the flashes of enemy Flag blowing in wind. When Hukum Singh move to let her know that not only her mother, but the rest of Queen and palace maid under Queen Phulwati Bai leadership commited Mass-immolation too. As per their plan it was supposed to be prevents at all cost but the queen's refused to leave the fort.

She has watch her parents dying now the news of others death, wasn't making much a difference. Though her heart was weeping but her mind was numb. Within few hours later , divided in groups they made their way inside the fort, through various secret pathway. Some from the dungeon some from temple side, some from the inner courtyard. Some from the royal Kotchen side. The enemies soldiers were trying to set up their luggage and sighting the place to start pattrolling. Her and her soldiers started killing each one they spotted, Jodha has taken the dungeon routes and saw her few soldiers inside the dungeon tied up, she help them out they all were safe. The soldiers pointed towards other sight, where women's were tied up like animals.

"Get these women's out"!."Near hills"!.

"Your highness his majesty"?.."is it really true they"?.

She didn't Gets to voice out thus she just gave curt nod in yes, making them dishearten but then they move to carry on her order to it's completion. The women's change into slain Soldiers dress to escape. And her soldiers wrap the women cloth around themselves to visit freely in fort.

"He's in throne Hall"!..

Whisper a men approaching her, she nodded then hiding her sword behind pick up a wine goblet in hand and approach the Hall. No one stop her as she easily stepped in the hall, her stomch churn in sheer disgust watching Adham khan sitting on throne. He has a long deep Scar on his left cheek, Caressing the Arm rest with evil smile on face. He was drinking wine a men was present with him having wine too.

"What happen my Lord aren't you happy"?..

"I'm"! Why I won't be"? Everything comes on my foot easily"! "the state & enemies head"!

Filling the glass of men she thurst her dagger into his chest killing him at once, drunk yet alarmed Adham khan stopped on his way then moved his hand to drew his sword out but found it missing.

"Who are you"?.

"Your nightmare"!..

And that's what she become Demon's Nightmare. The voice, it's unknown who is this women, she didn't move didn't approach just drew her dagger out from the chest of men. Motion him to go ahead and grab his sword. smirking at the thought she's Understimating him, "A Rajput by etiquette, never raise weapon on unarmed"! He recall well. Retreated and drew his sword out which was on table. His move was enough to convey he's Understimating her, before facing him only she was aware of his physical strength, Big Elphant size ego, she was here to take advantage of it. After what he made her go through, "Killing him isn't suffice"! She has made her mind what she will do with him.

"You made mistake to let me take weapon"! I'm unbeatable Sword-fighter"!..

She didn't said anything Glaring at his way, she didn't said anything, she threw her Odhni, revealing a sight of dressed in a warrior outfit having her face tied with turban cloth, Jodha didn't said anything she didn't need to. As he approach her with his sword and dagger he waited for her to make a first move. But she didn't, Alright' Stretching his neck, Adham pushed forward his shoulders into an aggressive stance, rubbing the handles of his weapons. He waited. His opponent would come up with a similar routine, wouldn't she"? But no, he Wiggled the top of his blades in the air, but nothing work the girl stand like mere bystander. He decided to attack, the girl will be compelled to move in defence. But she didn't move, not even muscles on her body twitch. Making him astonished as well annoyed. "what the girl wants"? Well doesn't matter what she want, it's time he gave her what he wants to give her because of her audacity to kill his men. He move within blink he'd lunged ahead, swinging his weapon across in a single stroke - expecting to strike metal. Expecting even to get his weapon get taste of blood. But it didn't happen, his shoulder tighten up with the force he imply to attack but there the girl stood un-hurt, neither she has any weapon drew out to defend. His attack went vacant in air. He was shocked but then he calmly whirled the sword smoother than a juggler in a fairground, thawing the veins in his wrist for a another strike. But it went vacant to, "what she's doing"? Neither she's attacking neither she's retreating accepting defeat. "What the hell"? is she trying toy with me"? Gritting his teeth he hissed and charge towards for another strike, one two three and the number goes on, in process the vase the Lamps all get scattered on floor,the carpet caught little fire. but he was lost he he try all his moves to kill Her at one stroke, but each move went vacant, the force he charge to strike, her yet failing each time has him Exhausted. There she stood like testing his Paitence trying to see what best move he can come up with. Drunk, Exhausted, Annoyed, curious, confused, he watch her. Then entagged he approach forward.

"Enough you wench"! I will kill you"!..

Saying this he again charge towards the girl, but this time when he charge towards her neck, she step aside and stabbed a dagger on his left eye, earning a loud Yelp from him as he retreated his Sword fall from his hand. Writhing in pain he look up having his one hand over the injured eye. He waited to get targeted by her but she stood unmoving again. Tearing a cloth from his own Tunic, he tied it around his left eye. He look up at her, she was like void of emotion her eyes were cold and blank. Picking his sword he again stood up to charge against her, this time she has moved again, he lung forward, she wasn't going on direct hand to hand combat, but moving strategically behind stab her dagger on his Right foot, making him fall on floor in yelling in immense pain. As his face fall over the burning Carpet his skin melted in the fire, the hall echo's with his scream of agony but none come for his aid. He try to get up but no use, she finally drew out her sword having enough of dagger, Charge against him but he immidately rolled on his back and block her swing by his sword. A look of evilness flicker in the doe like eyes, but again they went cold and blank. He try to push her back but she put her foot over his right one, And pressed her sword further over his, then shot her dagger on his Left Hand, before he could charge she has him writhing in pain of helplessness and pure agony his scream were music to her his battered body was a quite sight for her. Not able to take it any longer his grip losen as hands started going down, she wasn't ready for this and unknowingly her sword move straight over his manhood earning a heart wrenching scream he started shaking pathetically like fish without water. his eyes wide open in fear and pure agony tears were keaking out like waterfall. he try setting up yelling on top of his lung, then passed out under her hold. She glance at it, then poked him, but he didn't move. He was alive his down breathing were sign he's alive. Rolling her eyes at his sight, she walked out of there through the secret pathway.

"Sent a Physician for his treatment"!

If her previous order has him confused the next left her men terrorised, they never seen this shade of their princess. But they knew it's time to do as she want. They now sworn to serve her, admit she fail to protect her family but she manage to protect everyone else. If they're breathing alive hearing her it's because of her plan. Fool were the enemy to not smell the danger behind the calm surrendering facade of Soldiers. But now what"? What they are to do next"? Hour later each soldier they kill were burning in fire. If they wanted could take the fort in their hold kill every single enemy soldier but they didn't they just killed the one cross their path, rest of them are fine. Were the one working to extinguish the fire to help Adham. Standing over the rock from afar she stared at the fort.

"What we are to do now your highness"?

"Make the Fort a cage for them"! "Make the welth their meal and water"!..

Her voice it was getting low, husky and more cold Ordered she, which was clear, Hukum Singh look on at her in shock, she didn't mean that, did she"? But there was no look of backing and he realised she has made up her mind. It was clear she will kill them all when they least expect, but the real demon will die at the last breath of his last men. The King Abul Shah has no knowledge about Adham Khan true situation. In each letter each message each men sent by him to Abul Shah are in her strict watch they fail to convey a real truth. All they know her as A nomadic Tribes Leader who is fighting their troop robbing them. They doesn't even know the wealth and weapon sent by King Abul Shah is used to train the common folk and help them out.

Hearing the voice from behind, she inhale sharp intake of breath then leaning on the tree spoke calmly in low tone. Getting her out of her past memories she glance at him as he stood infront of her. With curious gaze fill of confusion as well anticipation.

He expected this, the coldness the rage of people is oblivious here. He sensed things has taken drastic change here, he knew they're burning in the fire of vegnance but hearing it from one of them made his heart bleed with pain.

"Then what"? And what type of misunderstanding the people here has"?

"Then why he sent crown prince here to investigate about her"? All know he's an Assassin well trained Spy. if he think well about us"! Why he doesn't sent the crown prince to get the head of Tyrrant Adham khan"?

Sweat beads formed on his neck, as he clutch over the dagger. If she already know about his presence in Amer. Then why he hasn't faced her yet"? Why no attack"? Is it possible she wants him to learn about Adham kgan"? Is it possible she wants him take decision against Adham khan"? Even he could feel himself getting terrorized by her. She's way more shrewd and sharp than he thought her to be.

He smirk as he retorted she glance back at him but said nothing. And smirk inwardly oh I got you where I wanted you to be. "Your end isn't far Adham"! Justice will prevail soon"!.
