Q : Are u leaving this serial for real this time?

Yes.And why?

Ans : To tell you the truth, I have been asked to leave.

Q : Reason?

Ans :I need logic that will explain what I am doing in the serial and why I am doing so. There is no logic being offered. I can't work like a robot. I am an actor who works by conviction. My character has clicked because I have kept myself very close to Sujal.

Q : So?

Ans : Time and again, I have differed with the scenes which have been written for me. I just don't seem to agree with most of the things handed out to me.

Q : But you can sit across the table and thrash out these issues?

Ans : It's not happening. I tried my best. When I came back last time, I thought things would change. I gave it another try. But almost every time, I was told to toe the line. I asked them to throw me out. Finally they said, "No more of your questions." 15 May is my last date of shooting.

Q : It's said that you are insecure. You are ruffled by the footage given to Akshat, Swayam and Rishi…

Ans : Rishi and Akshat were there earlier too. There has never been any problem between us. We play squash, badminton and even hang out together at times.

Q : It's also said that you don't give dates to 'KTH'?

Ans : Ever since I signed Ketan Mehta's serial, Balaji and I had an understanding that I will give 12 days each to both shows. I have not gone back on that.

Q : Going back to your complaint. Do you think it's easy to explain the logic of every scene to every actor? I mean, you know the hectic pace at which Indian television functions?

Ans : Then please tell me why six creatives (creative directors) have been appointed. Just to get fat salaries? (pauses).

Q : Go on...

Ans : Listen to this one. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. There was a scene where I will barge in from Tokyo and slap Kashish. Reason? Because I feel that my mother has suffered an accident since she told her about my father's first marriage with Akshat's mother. But do you know how I get to know it? When I land up in the hospital and hear my dad talking to his himself that 'kaash Kashish ne Veena ko nahin bataya hota'. How can somebody hear what the other person is saying in his mind? (pauses).

Q : Uh huh?

Ans : There's another scene where they said that the first thing I would do after coming back from Tokyo is call up my father. I cannot digest that. In the serial, I have virtually no equation with my dad. I objected. The Creatives were called. Finally, they understood my perspective. Now, my dad will call me up as soon as I land in India. But do you know that the journey from Tokyo to Mumbai is shown to be done in just one hour?

Q : But does your dad know that you are coming back from Tokyo, that he calls you up?

Ans : No, he does not. Don't question me on logics any further.

Q : What if your good friend Aamna requests you to return?

Ans : Aamna will not request. She didn't last time either. She is a thorough professional and we don't interfere in our work areas.

Q : What if Shobhaji and Jeetuji call you back?

Ans : I respect them a lot. But this time I am firm. I am out of 'KTH' and I think this is a promise.

Q : But promises are meant to be broken, Mr Khandelwal?

Q : I returned once. Yeh koi khel nahin. Yeh koi masti nahin. Bahut Ho Gaya. But yes, if I realise that the system here can kill an actor if he walks out of a certain production house and a certain channel, I might decide to return.

Q : So, you have just one serial in your kitty now, Ketan Mehta's show coming up on Zee?

Ans : True. But so what? I am not playing a safe game here.

Q : You did a pilot for a serial by Anubhav Sinha. Has it been passed?

Ans : I have no intimation on that. It's a good comedy show. I may do it, I may not. Let's see.

Q : Are you trying to hint that you are now looking at films?

Ans : No. The truth is that I don't know what I'll do. I am simply blank

It could have been a perfect angst track, only if, the writers had seen their own show. Prerna yearning to hate Anurag and failing miserably. Anurag suffering with the guilt of having pushed Prerna down the bridge and out of his life, struggling to ask about his child.

But bakwaas tashan, filler characters like Kaushik Kukki and nonsensical tracks like Nivi ne Bajaj ko kaise seduce karna hai, inse fursat milti to na.

Whoever or whatever pushed the show towards closure has really done a great service to all. All actors seems to be happier and fans too. EK, please concentrate on supernatural/web shows - if you want to make remakes please hire writers first, not these set par story likhne waale people. Also since I am dishing free advice to EK, people want decent story-telling, fans or fan wars don't get TRP. Use your marketing prowess to sell stories.

That is the problem, the writers think it is 'CUTE' to show an eight year old separated couple behave like teenagers, No it is not. I mean forget AnuPre, the writers even made a 50 year old Bajaj behave like a 20 year old jealous boyfriend who would argue about a woman in a parking lot.

If male leads are reduced to such cat fights and female leads are reduced to nothing but mere eye locks and tears, then someday the show was supposed to end. It is surprising though that it ended on a good note, a 1.4 TVR is not bad given most SP shows end at around that rating. Also, the lockdown was bad luck and the Anu killing Pre track completely got rejected. It is difficult to believe that they had 4-6 writers and all they dished out was cat fights in parking lots, elevators, and some random misunderstandings on orphanage demolition. They could have done so much in the past two months, instead all they did was kill time with tracks that butchered the leads for some unknown reasons.

It was a shocker. It was unbelievable, as a kid I was like 'Sujal can never leave his kashish'😆

Rajeev-Aamna was fire, too much sexual tension for any couple onscreen☺️

Harshad was banned from her show because HC and Aditi fans troubled her after KDMHMD. Not creative diff. Their fans were mad when the show ended. . But she made tere liye with HC. No. Harshad was not banned, i do not think Ekta is that childish to ban her golden actors over fan wars. Harshad has done two memorable shows with Balaji, and I think in the current lot of actors, he is the best which Ekta had. Aditi was a poor actress, she is still a poor actress, Ekta has mostly offered her sidekicks, whereas Harshad is still playing lead roles, he is just so laid back and low key that you hardly hear about him unless his show is onair.

Having said all that it is great to see Rajeev work with Balaji again, I loved watching Haq Se, finally Ekta's dream of pairing up Rajeev-Surveen was fulfilled.😆

ALso, i liked Cold lassi chicken masala, but i just cannot take DT's performance seriously, it was an alright show, and finally she made Rajeev's onscreen character sleep with the female lead's sister.

Coincidentally, Ekta did everything with Rajeev's current characters which she wanted to do with Sujal🤣

yes.ekta said that she will not work with harsh aditi again bcz of the constant pressure from their fans.But after that also she worked with aditi.there was an article that harshad was considered 4 bajaj's role n harshad was willing too.but things didnt work out.ekta's decision can change any time as she cannot keep life time enmity with good actors.Rajeev n pulkit r the actors with whom she had a horrible fight.She gave 2 good web series to Rajeev.So she may cast Harshad again in future with whom she has no enmity

Actually the reason why Mataji is cross with Harshad bcos he has told a big NO to a lot of offers which were informally sent across to him via her creative team right hand members like Chole.

Rajeev and EK fought like cats and dogs. Pulkit took het to court. However harshiti fans especially overseas ones spammed her inbox and a couple head honchos including Uday Shankar (he is gonna leave star soon). They were very vocal about it which hurt her ego and channel producers often spoke about the spammers during official meetings. That really irked everyone.

She channelised her anger towards HC who did apologise but aditi blamed fans directly and asked them to behave.

Then something is wrong between HC and Ek which no one knows, she isnt willing to relent and neither he talks about it.

Whereas Parth may have professional and creative differences but certainly nothing more than that.

According to articles Harshad was approached to play Bajaj(But guess informally) n he was happy too.But things did not work between them.
