Dargah Meet and Its fallout

Epi 3

When you think Khushi is removing the oil and lighting the candle the scene springs a surprise. Khushi is seen making Jalebis eating them all the while crying as well till Every one is up. The moment Shashi comes to Khushi one can see the fragile innocent child. Her underlying sadness and guilt is visible. Shashi is seen been reinforcing the fact that it doesn't matter that she doesn't share the same blood as them. He tells Khushi that she shouldn't have taken a big responsibility without consulting him.

God has his own way. There could be a blessing in disguise. She seems a bit relieved seeing the support of the neighbours.

Khushi is seen outside the Dargah complaining to Payal that her mom isnt talking to her because of that Laad Governor and she'll take his class if she meets him again. She does the same while praying to make Everything like before. She wants to buy a lock for a Mannat and asks to send someone good man for Payal.

Meanwhile Arnav also passed by her. Her duppatta caressing his face and then his key fell down. Khushi picked it up and called out to him. She tells him that his key fell down not knowing the man is Arnav. He tells her to throw it. She thinks that he again told her off.

My take on Epi 3

Its funny to see her making Jalebis and having them too but vulnerable Khushi is almost like a lost child. She's relieved to see her father and explains her side to him again

Khushi blaming Arnav and calling him Laad Governor shows that she's a feisty girl who'd give it back to him because her mom isnt talking to her. She hasn't blamed him for breaking her sister's marriage.

Her naivete can be seen in prayer

Epi 4

Khushi manages to catch up to him with her one jooti in her hand. She stops him holding her stomach and catching her breath. She tells him that he can't go like this. Arnav steps forward towards her while she steps back and tells her that he told her before as well to be in her aukaad( aaukad means Status. He's insulting her status) and walks off. Khushi is angry that he again talked about her Status and follows him putting her jooti. She tells Arnav that the place they are at Everyone is equal. Who do you think you are to do whatever you want. Arnav smugly questions her that what did he do. Khushi holds her duppatta near her neck in a reflex. She recalls the Dori breaking moment and tells him that he knows what he did. She says that he might be rich that he must not be scared of anyone but he can't be bigger than God. That whatever he is today he's because of God. Arnav replies that he has nothing to do with what I am today. Khushi is confused about who is the he Arnav is referring to. Arnav replies your God. Khushi can't believe that he's talking about God like this who gave him so much and good destiny. Arnav counters that God didnt give him anything. He writes his own destiny. He again steps towards her and invades her personal space. Khushi frightfully moves her face away but he goes closer to her and warns her not to come in his way again or even her God won't be able to save her and walks off again. Khushi walks right behind him and counters that may be in his world there is no God and he doesn't have faith in God but the world she lives in no one is above God. Arnav whose back is to Khushi tells her that if there was God there would be no pain. In this world only those who have money have the power. Just remember that and walks off. Khushi is flabbergasted at his words. She argues that even if God gives you pain he also helps you heal. No matter how big you are you can't compete with God. No money and no power can't be bigger than God. She trails away that Till she believes in her Mata Rani, she'll be with her. No one other than Her can change anyone's destiny or fate. Without her wish no one can harm anyone not even any Arnav Singh Raizada. She angrily puts her jooti down. Arnav looks angrily towards her so she flees the place while turning back

Khushi is trying to talk to Garima and then Payal who asks her why are the pearls missing. Khushi recalls Arnav and hugs Payal. She tells her that she met the Laad Governor. When Payal asks her if she's okay Khushi haughtyly tells her that she didn't grow up playing marbles. The Guy roams around with 4 people guarding him as if he is piece of Barfi and his nose in the air. His anger is always on the tip of his nose. He's as arrogant as the amount of money he has. She mimicks the daily soap style how she told him and further adds that even at the Mazhar he was showing his attitude. She says Devi Maiya will save her. He needs help. I took his class royally and he'll remember it for the rest of his life. Meanwhile Arnav ordered to release the tapes which would be on air in 10 mins. Khushi is still sad for Payal's broken marriage but Payal assures her that its happened for the best because the greed for dowry never ends. Khushi thanks Devi Maiya that Payal is okay. They start dancing to a song and their parents join them and all is well. Shashi takes Khushi along with him and Garima to save her from Buaji. Khushi sweetly tthe money lender who added an extra 0 while settling the account. Shashi sends Khushi to get medicines and meanwhile Khushi finds people looking at her. She thinks there is something on her face and looks at the glass window of a shop only to find the Video clip of her falling in Arnav's arms with malicious allegations on her intentions and character. She's crying out of humiliation hearing such character assassination and people commenting that she's the same girl as in the video.

My take on Epi 4

Khushi was only trying to return the key. Arnav disrespected the belief by asking to throw the same key of the lock he tied. She stops him because she wanted to give it back to him for what he did but before she can say anything Arnav again reminds her of her status. So it's only fair that Khushi reminds him that everyone is equal. Not just in Khushi's world everyone one is equal as per the law as well so why Arnav thinks only Rich people have the right to speak up. Khushi hasn't gone into his world this time but he's still disrespectful. Khushi is obviously a firm believer and ignorant about the harsh reality of life. She doesn't know about Arnav's life so it wasn't right to assume that since he was Rich he had everything. But it's not her fault to understand that he's talking about his pain while trying to reason why he thinks God doesn't exist. Arnav is only telling her his reality that only money gives one power. She asserts her belief in her Devi Maiya that no one can harm her not even ASR. Arnav however takes it as an insult and orders to release the tapes

Both have strong views and beliefs based on their experiences. Khushi totally metamorphs into a fiesty girl who speaks her heart out and then flees like a scared little kitten after Arnav glares at her. She had the last say. If not for the tapes she totally Shut up Arnav Singh Raizada

Epi 5

Garima takes away an apologetic Khushi who wants to explain. However some goons pulled her Duppatta and tried to molest her. They pushed Shashi who gets injured and then a man comes and beats the goons. Khushi is hiding behind her mother in fear to avoid that man who after saving her is staring at her. The man stares at Khushi who looks back at him with no emotion.

Buaji who has watched the clipping on tv is again deriding Khushi. Khushi said that she slipped but Payal stops Khushi from explaining further. Garima again lashes out at Khushi. Khushi pleads Shashi to not send them to Delhi but he is disappointed with her and says she's made a mistake. Life isn't rosy all the time and she has to deal with its ugliness as well.

Khushi feels sorry but she wants to find out who released the tapes. She along with Payal visits the News Channel office. The reporters gather around her to take bytes from her. Payal silently comes to support her but they start badgering and capturing her assuming she wants to be a model actress. Khushi is in tears and asks them to stop. She urges them to stop laughing at her when she and her family has suffered so much at the hands of someone who came to their town and insulted one of them. The reporter feels sorry and stops capturing her and admits they were wrong. Khushi demands they tell her who gave them those pics. The reporters replied that Arnav Singh Raizada himself provided the tapes and ordered to telecast it on tv. Khushi is shocked.

My take on Epi 5

Khushi faces harassment and no girl should be facing this regardless of what she did. Shashi got hurt as well. Khushi was hiding behind her mother when The snake was staring at her. Khushi was obviously shaken but again the family instead of making sure she's feeling okay and comforting her are scolding her and blaming her. They should have asked her what happened that night. First the Dori breaking then duppatta snatching could be shake any girl. Even Shashi disappointed in this episode. It's all about izzat for them not even the women understood what Khushi must have gone through. Such insensitive orthodox family.

Khushi still is sad that because of her the family's reputation is at stake and wants to know who did it. Obviously she's shocked that Arnav released them.

In the first 5 episodes, Khushi came across as a naïve girl but, she won't agree, the same way Arnav doesn't think he can ever be wrong and he needs to control his anger when people comment about his sister or mother.

Khushi thinks she can take care of everything. When her father clearly said, her thoughts were not wrong, but the way she has decided to fix things was wrong.

Let me rewind and ask a question.

What if Abhishekh knows about the new demand and he was OK with it? Would she have run home and asked the family to stop the wedding? Would Payal have said, no I don't want to marry him because dowry hunger can never be satisfied? Did they even think what they were going to do if the answer is yes?

During the confrontation, Khushi couple of times said, Without god's permission no one can do anything. Ek pattha bhi nahi hilta.

Then why apply that to few incidents and leave others?

Khushi is just 18 and in her quest to fix things, she landed in trouble many times.

Cheers.....

Hi

Actually Khushi was naive till the end but she was stubborn to accept that.

As for the Abhishek she said on the phone if he's involved then there is no point in being with someone who has no heart.

I had the same question that what if Khushi didn't go at all then what would the Guptas do? Will they be okay selling of the shop for Payal?

Khushi did this with Payal's permission including taking the file. It was Payal's call to decide what she wanted to do.

Just like Arnav is conditioned to protect Anjali all the time same way Khushi is conditioned to look out for Payal who wants things but isn't vocal and Khushi has to do her bidding.

The part about why Devi Maiya's wish is applied to few incidents and not others?

Every believer who believe everything happens by God's wish doesn't mean it they should tolerate when someone is doing wrong with them as also Devi Maiya's wish.

Khushi is just 18 so she'd at times act like her age because she's generally burdened to shoulder the responsibilities. She said to Shashi who'll help you at the shop which means she works at the shop.

Why did Khushi have to be the one to fix everything? Why was the family even thinking about giving in to the demands from the groom side, knowing they will never be satisfied? Of course its hard to call off the wedding at the last minute. No parent wants that humiliation for their daughter and for themselves.

Khushi felt she could try and save the situation.

I had edited my comment for Epsiode 2 here.

Comment for this update 👇🏼

Vulnerable Khushi in Episode 3 is so cute and seems like an innocent kid as you said. Had Arnav seen her like this, he wouldn't have ever done what he did later.

Her run with the Jooti in hand was clumsy, funny and all things Khushi smiley36. Although I like fiesty Khushi a lot, the religious debate was unnecessary and avoidable. The interesting thing is that Arnav actually stands there and discusses his belief, I doubt he would have ever done that with anyone else. Maybe that's the reason she goes on with her discourse too. Khushi had the last word but the way she runs off in the end and the nervous look back hardly seemed like she had won. Maybe she had some inkling that things weren't going to end well.

I agree that she didn't deserve what happened. Arnav's reactions are always too extreme. Did he even imagine what his tape release could have lead to? Luckily, Khushi escaped with less, considering much worse things could've happened. 😐

I don't think Khushi was terrified of Shyam, she was hiding because of the other goons. Infact she looks at Shyam and even glances back later. The fact that she later on strikes a friendship with him is proof of that.

Every believer who believe everything happens by God's wish doesn't mean it they should tolerate when someone is doing wrong with them as also Devi Maiya's wish.

I am not saying we have to tolerate when someone is wrong Radhika.

According to Khushi if someone receives pain, they will be soothed as well. That soothing won't happen automatically. We have to do something about it. That is what I am pointing at.

If Khushi is outraged by Arnav's actions, (be it detaining her, grabbing her hands or breaking dori) she should have told her father or sister. Her father could have gone to Arnav, cleared the facts and you never know he might even done something about Arnav's inappropriate actions.

In the Darga encounter instead of putting her point across and address it, she picked on something else. His religious beliefs or lack of them.

I can understand, for her, if a person comes to Darga ties a Mannat ki tala is equivalent to having belief in god. She never heard of anyone who goes to temple but not believe in god.

This encounter should have taught her there are people who don't believe in god, yet they go to temple for reasons unknown to her.

Cheers.......

In her defence Payal's marriage was broken and she wouldnt add more to their plate. Plus she didn't even know his name.

She would have made her point if Arnav didn't start with Aukaat. Then one thing led to another

The whole point of showing Khushi arguing and then walking off all scared was to show she was childish or silly.

Episode 6 : Khushi in Delhi

Khushi is complaining to Devi Maiya about going to Delhi. Laad Governor was now part of her thoughts and talks. Kada Kerala woh bhi Neem Chada woh bhi baasi Rs 100 per kg. Bina Dil walo ki Dilli Maachis ki Tilli. She's praying and surprised to see the snake who gives her his card.

Khushi's really sad to leave her home. Though Payal is leaving too but she doesn't have a buaji deriding her all the time reminding how much of a burden she is.

Khushi being thrown out of the auto when Buaji gets in is so hilarious. She covers her face with her duppatta when she sees the driver staring at her through the rear view mirror then telling him off for asking too much money was funny too. Then She and Payal trying to pull Buaji out of the scooter can make anyone rofl.

When Shashi calls the ever Venomous Buaji reminds Khushi that Payal's real father has called. Khushi ignores it and hears what Shashi is saying. He says Khushi has a pure heart and she considers everyone like her. Khushi takes the phone and asks Shashi who opened the shop and if he used the sugar syrup she made for Jalebi. Shashi replies who else will and that he used it. Garima talks on the phone but is still upset but Khushi knows she's drawing circles on the table. Garima advises her to remain calm she's at an unknown place. Buaji again makes comment on Khushi's tears.

Khushi and Payal start cleaning the room and Khushi first cleans the table and

then places Devi Maiya on the table.

Khushi again blames Ajgar Singh Raizada. She forgot his name. Payal tells Khushi the amount of anger her head is filled with is enough to take care of Delhi's power woes.

Khushi is again lamenting on her mistakes. Khushi sees there is dust on the bedsheet and in the process of dusting it off buaji comes in and has an asthama attack

Khushi grabs the keys of someone else's scooty and drives through the roads of Delhi entering one way streets. She can be seen in Arnav's rear view mirror when someone calls him to inform him how Khushi had to leave Lucknow due to defamation.

Khushi bangs her scooty into Arnav's SUV which causes the mirror to break and a scratch on his SUV.

Just as Khushi is upset over breaking of the glass she sees Arnav and shockingly with her mouth open in an O says, "Aap?".

Episode 7 : Arnav Khushi Face off

Khushi tells Arnav that how dare he do that? Arnav retorts that he faced a loss. Khushi counters that he doesn't know how much damage he caused her. He should think before acting especially when it concerns a girl. Arnav argues back saying then stop interfering in my business. You damaged my SUV.

Did you plan to extract money from me? Khushi is flabbergasted and replies that everything can't be measured in monetary terms. She has no interest in his money. Arnav eyes her suspiciously and tells her that You came from Lucknow to Delhi and bumped into men surely it's a ploy. I know girls like you very well. Khushi embarrassingly says that you care car and your money but do you what you have cost my family. I agree it was my mistake because I am not like you to deny my mistakes. I am ready to compensate for the car damage but the damage you cost my family can't be compensated in a lifetime. Arnav haughtyly replied that if she knew the Cost of his SUV she wouldnt dare to collide her cheap scooter with it because even the value of her entire life won't be enough to pay off his loss.

Khushi isn't backing off either and said you again brought money. Fine we are self respecting people and even If we make a mistake we don't take favours from anyone. Tell me how much do I need to pay I'll pay it all right now. She digs into her cloth bag for money. Arnav smugly replied Rs 25000. Khushi is embarrassed and Arnav continues smugly that what happened doesn't she have this much money and she has the audacity to argue with ASR. He taunts her that how will she give him money I'll give you some and he pulls out some notes and puts it on her hand saying that she can use this to fix the mirror and if there is change left she can buy a ticket to Lucknow.

Khushi composes herself and challenges him that if he only understands the language of money she'll repay the entire amount. Arnav who's turned to get into his SUV says its easy to talk about self respect but money is expensive. You are here and so am I. We'll see. And he gets into his SUV wears his Rayban and drives away. Khushi is in a daze and recalls his words. She then starts thinking aloud about will she manage to pay Rs 25000 that too in a new city. But then she makes a resolve to pay that arrogant man the money. She's rambling about who does Arnav think he is. He thinks he's God. Khushi cutely eyes her scooter and complains that he broke the mirror.

She's trying to steer her scooter away when a passerby tells her to get aside and Khushi tells him to get lost. She mutters that she's not there to settle. The music for Khushi is kinda funny. Then she again vents her anger saying she wants to throw Rs 25K in his face along with the Rs 1000 he gave her as interest. Then she looks up and whines to Devi Maiya that did she find only him to dash into amidst Crores of people. She wants to teach the Laad Governor a lesson..

Khushi reaches Laxmi Nagar where Buaji is waiting with her usual taunts for her. Bediji and she talk about Buaji's anger and she shows him the broken mirror apologetically. Bediji cracks a joke and asks her to go

Khushi rushes in and joins Buaji who is doing aarti and tries to pacify an angry Buaji who warns her not to form bonds or hangout. Khushi again vows to pay Arnav Rs 25000 but wonders how. Payal is trying to plead Khushi's case to an angry Buaji who tells her to go get vegetables. Payal asks her what happened and Khushi tells her that she met that Laad Governor again.

Khushi and Payal go to the market to buy vegetables. Khushi while munching on her bers tells Payal that there are so many types of people. She compares Bedi Uncle whose mirror broke but he didn't say a word and on the other hand that Laad Governor ASR got a scratch on his SUV and was worked up. She says he's got a small heart size of that little seed. She thanked her Devi Maiya that he wasn't so angry to demand Rs 25K from her. She shows Payal some notes and tells her that these are special notes that she's going to keep it with her which will remind her of her humiliation. Payal tells her to stop but she goes on to say that until she'll give him back that 25K she'll be restless. Payal asks her pointedly that because of him she's already restless. Does she realize how many 0s are there in 25K to repay which she neither has a lottery ticket or a job. Khushi gets excited about a job. Payal reminds her that they are in Delhi only for 2 weeks how will she find a job and make 25K in that time. Khushi reflects that why is there another question free with Every answer. Payal smiles and tells her to get going. Khushi starts arguing over the vegetable prices with the vendor. Then comes the snake who says how much efforts were put to bring her to Delhi as a guest. Payal leaves them alone to talk and Khushi naively tells him where her Buaji lives and he says he has his law practice in the same lane. Khushi response is rather funny asking him if practices law on Streets. Khushi offers him ber but refused to take his umbrella. He slyly asked her if she found Delhi as expected. She dejectedly says she found nothing but Delhi took away her peace of mind. Snake tells you tell me I'll get you what you want. Khushi replied instantly I'll get what I need myself. That's two tickets 2 Lucknow and 25K to throw it in that Governor's face. Snake heard her muttering why will she pay a Governor. Khushi smiles and smartly cuts off the conversation saying Buaji is waiting and rushed to Payal.

My Take

Khushi is quirky bubbly girl who knows how to shut up people in her own funny way. She is cute too quite likeable character. She's spontaneous and starts to find answers instead of worrying. Like she rushed again on a scooter to get the pump for Buaji.

Arnav was being an arrogant prick and Khushi this time gave it back rather confidently. Though soon she realized she's agreed to pay an amount she can't manage.

She says things without thinking them through. She's childlike who wants to get even with someone she fought with in school not thinking about the consequences.

Her self respect had nothing to do with the accident and returning the money. If someone would have asked any amount would she pay anyone any amount if she feels her self respect is hurt.

She seems stubborn too. She's adamant to pay Arnav even when she herself admitted he didnt ask her for that amount. She's too trusting. She needs to take time to know people before trusting them.

She's too good for her own good.

Khushi didnt give Rs 1000 that Arnav gave to her to Bediji.

I agree Khushi is childish, naive, trusts people easily and all that and for that she got into trouble as well.

Shyam said "kitana jatan karna pada inko yaha tak laane ke liye". That was a dead give away.

Neither Payal nor Khushi paid any attention to that.

Cheers...
