Farming is going to be destroyed, economy destroyed esp in poor countries not to mention kids education, poor kids suffer from malnutrition due to lack of school lunches...

Cancer and many diseases go undiagnosed, not to mention depression...

Ok but doesn’t mean all Muslim in-laws are bad so I still don’t understand the outrage against the ad. Even in Bollywood there’s many Hindu women that married into Muslim families and they celebrate her traditions as well. Maybe this is just a small percentage but what’s wrong with being idealistic in an ad? It’s good the ad is setting an example that families should embrace each other’s traditions

Multiple women in same religion marriages in India kill themselves or are killed because of dowry, sexual abuse, domestic violence etc etc. Inter caste marriage in states like Haryana within the same religion still end with the couple being hunted and killed. Should ads stop depicting marriage at all, in such a scenario.

So the phrase ‘sexual preference’ is offensive and unacceptable now?

I very well knew your response would be something like this, but do you understand we dont live in an Idealistic society. Hindu girls should be cautious about inter-faith marriages, guy might promise before marriage of freedom of religion but is hardly met post marriage especially when rigid family is involved. Deception of freedom is short-lived. Once into marriage its hard for girl to step out..

What this ad is depicting is too idealistic thinking which obviously is existing in reel world only. In real world and to this date many Hindu girls have face torture, abduction, rape and are murdered if they deny conversion. Girls might fall for this rosy scenario looking at the ad but they would end up facing reality which is harsh and cruel.

@ bold part is that only limited to Hindus? What about the other side.. why Muslim girls are not allowed to marry Hindu guys... the percentage is so small that its almost non existent.

My question is, in this day and age, why are people still wearing that God awful gaudy dark yellow gold jewellery anyway? It’s tacky af.
