It is in the Indian express too.. The manager has spoken about the attack. I wonder why are they not involving the police at least now. Calling police was may not have been feasible when people had come to attack.. They were purportedly 120 strong and watching the staff keenly. The CCTV would certainly be running in the jewelry shop 24/7..masks would make identification difficult but not impossible.. Not everyone would be wearing a mask..some would be wearing it incorrectly and that would aid identification...

Gandhidham is not a huge city... It won't be that difficult.

It is up to an individual to report things when the incident happens to him, but when the attack is on an establishment things are different.. Why not report?

So the news channel didn't do due diligence. Indian express, India tv and a lot of channels have carried it. Rumour mongering in these times is serious. Good that the police official spoke up. I was livid at the protestors and now the policeman says there weren't any.

Strange that Tanishq talked about employee safety in its statement yesterday and today we had this news on Ndtv.. Journos get a lot of fantastic ideas ... Wonder why Tanishq isn't issuing any clarification on this matter.

I hope police examines the CCTV footage and digs out the truth.

Maybe next time rumour mongers will be better prepared and send muscle men to do their bidding and then report on it. 😡

Their daughter studied engineering, was a meritorious student, met a kerala xtian in college..love happened. Hindu parents ready to accept but xtian parents brainwashed the girl to convert. One a Malayali Hindu another a Manglorean xtian..their children meet too! The Hindu daughter a gold medallist and the boy a grad engineer..

Love happened..
Girls parents again ready to accept for the sake of the daughters happiness..
Boys mother brain washes..girl discreetly converts without telling anyone..
Parents severed all relations with her..mother suffered a heart attack but survived..
Mother is a double Phd and a scholar..she is so full of guilt that she keeps blaming herself..says her education didnt help keep her child safe..

Not logical in my opinion but she feels she didnt devote right amount of time in the right way for her child

Third case
Kerala Xtian parents both scientists

Their daughter meets a Hindu Maharastrian boy..
In management college..
He was an only child to hardworking ordinary middle class parents..
Love happens..girl's mother brainwashes boy to convert..the excuse being daughter wants a church wedding &it cant happen unless he converts

The boy has since not seen his parents...its 6 years now..

Fourth case
Tamizh Hindu boy an artist and a talented graphic designer with a well known ad agency..met a Tamizh Xtian girl who happened to work in the same office building..love happened..
Girls mother who is in the business of converting in Bangalore managed to convert him.. Boys father an army man..was so aggrieved he severed all ties..mother died ofshock..

Fifth case
Kerala Muslim boy..Oriya brahmin girl ko patatha hai..both students at a univin UK..girls father a civil servant..

Tried his best to change the girls mind..
Boys parents quickly moved in, converted her and conducted a nikaah in London..

Sixth case
Hindu Tamizh brahmin girl..Bihari muslim boy...peeche hi pad gaya..
Married & after 2 kids he married again..when she protested was thrown out after the famous utterance of TTT..

She committed suicide..leaving behind a 4 year old girl & a year oldboy..she took this extreme step because she felt ashamed, cheated and couldnt reconcile to facing her parents..

Seventh case
A Hindu Gujarathi girl eloped with a

Bengali muslim who it turned out was a refugee/
infiltrator from Bangladesh.. He dumped her but her parents saved her..she went counselling and is today trying her best to put her life together..

These are cases personally known to me.. some of them happened right in front of us

We have seen the parents grieving. As a mother I feel nothing is more important than mychildren..I want them to be safe, healthy and happy..a flying career and moneyis usually not in the list of a mother's priorities..those r add ons..
Thus personally the ad by Tanishq was in very bad taste, completely false and it carried the potential to be a dangerous INFLUENCER

Parents these days have to have a continuous communication with their children whether son or daughter. Children have to be aware of the perils of an inter community marriage

especially if there is persistence to convert..
Such a partnership is doomed right from the start.. where then is the love???
Some of the parents who I hv mentioned above have been dear to us, it has been a heart wrenching experience for me as a friend/relative..so I can imagine..

how challenging it must have been for the parents..
Children need to empathise with their parents too..it cant always be a I, Me,Myself..
Love should not be blind always..😊

People can choose whom to marry.. Bad marriages happen whether it is arranged or for love. If people face abuse then they must separate. I don't like blaming the spouse of your child for something your child has done. If your child is an adult and has cut off contacts with you then it is their choice.. Easier said than done but that is how it is. Unless it was marriage through deception, accept it as a choice your child has made. If they want to walk out of the marriage help them.. If they are fine then let them be.
