If Ani had actually considered bon just as responsibility then it would have been easy for him to move on after he sent her to maika and cut all ties with her. But he couldn't move on at all.. he was not ready for second marriage till end. His state before knowing truth was also quite clear that bon is not just a zimmedari for him..he's considering her as his wife.

Besides in front of villagers when he's saying woman is daughter..sis..mother and then at Patni he paused and cried followed by saying meri patni mujhe chodke chali gyi..

I think these things and lines are enough for me😆
