If the media was only going to engage in daily name taking and not provide any solid proofs except some panelists words and then stop immediately when someone puts out a note threatening legal action then it was only time a legal action was to take place. You cant run yr channels taking peoples name without actually having any proofs ( or authorities actually taking action against them) ..i mean it was all abt Kjos drug party and then the moment he posted a note saying legal action the news vanished into thin air ....almost proving KJo right!

Forgive me for failing to sympathise with these filmmakers. (Surprised they haven’t been named yet) They run after the media for “pap shots”, ask stars to indulge in fake dating rumours, have ties with the underworld, participate in illegal activities, many involved in Me Too, but look at this zulmi media. Boo hoo.😭

Safe to say Anurag Kashyap is probably one of them right? Dude will go anywhere and say anything to be in the news.😆

Anyway, i’m personally looking forward to the counter-attacks that will ensue from these massive media houses.Bollywood will have to be on their best behaviour.😈

I think the way laws stand in India, once you show a little teeth and a willingness to sue- even the most "fearless" warriors a la Arnab back off immediately. And no, this particular move doesnt refer to entertainment and censorship in films, it's about broadcast news. Totally different beasts.

I think this might make Arnab and co vindictive for a while- but what does Bollywood have to lose? They've already faced the brunt of it. Also the investors in movies must have also encouraged this- Bollywood is a multi billion dollar industry. Who wants to ruin the one good source of income and returns we have?

This is a smart move

BW actually has a lot to lose. Currently it is not that much scrutinized. They make whatever they want, there are hardly any guidelines and nobody cares about the financing and business ethics as long as everybody gets a cut. And as soon as there is any interference from the state the whole FOE debate sparks up and the controversies mostly favour BW. An action against these media houses will set a precedent. If someone calling BW terms like 'filth', 'druggie' etc makes it a punishable offence then the words used against news channels, politicians, states, policemen or anyone in general in movies will also be fair game. Thus, they'll be losing more control to who so ever has the power.

And BW trying to convince the masses that they are 'holier than thou' and don't consume drugs, yeah good luck with that😆. At the end of the day it's a cesspool of mediocrity rotten to the core. By taking this route they are just tightening the noose around their own necks.
