I think it's a little bit of both.
When Vansh didnt realize his own feelings fully, he made Riddhima nervous like in the hichki scene.
But when he realized his own feelings...he started getting embarassed too...like in the mirror scene...and also in the brooch one.
that's true, but the context for it were different. mirror & brooch were emotionally intimate, not so much physically
while the dori, hichki, and saree, they were more of physical attractions than emotional
