Character arcs

I love Veer's character in Naagin 5 but I'm not able to understand his character arc. Jai has a negative character arc where he changed from a positive supporting character to a negative supporting character and honestly, his motivations are understandable. It's not easy to always be a second fiddle to someone as powerful as Naageshwari (that's why Ron is my favourite character in Harry Potter series because it's very difficult to remain in the shadow of someone who's always in limelight). As for Bani, she also has a defined character arc where she changes from impulsive, naive Naageshwari to cunning Bani who will think before reacting and hopefully, be able to understand true motivations of others. But as for Veer, I'm confused. His only defining trait is his love aka obsession for Bani (both in Satyug and Kalyug). I mean I'm all for love which transcends even death, but don't you think Veer's character should have shades other than only loving Bani. Like his character is the best in the show, at least give him motivations of his own. His character should also undergo changes like Jai and Bani. As mentioned in other post, a role reversal would be brilliant. It's getting a little tiring to see Bani always brushing off Veer's care thinking he's her enemy and Veer always being there for her. I would love to see Veer give Bani a taste of her own medicine, even if he's just pretending it to save her. I loved the line when he told Bani that one day she'll want Veer as much as he wants her.

He definitely has shades other than loving bani....he is unaware of the other motivations in life , cause it’s so clear that veer as a character has so much more to still know abt himself and to explore...he is kept in the dark and when he comes to know of his actual reality and what he is capable of , we will definitely get to see his arc.....

Till now, I like the balance of lightheartedness and intensity in his character. He lets others fool around but doesn't hesitating in putting a stop when anyone crosses his limit. I like his cunningness when he does exactly opposite what Bani expects him to do. It's refreshing to see such a surefooted, intelligent ML in ITV. I'm waiting for today when his memory will come back.

Veer is definitely different than others. Where on one side bani and Jay's character sketches are crystal clear on the other hand veer has a different shades in his character. Which needs to be unfolded.

But there's one thing that differentiate veer from Aakesh. Aakesh attracted toward naageshwari even after knowing she's from his enemy clan whereas veer hates naag-naagin and he's unaware of the fact that bani is naagin. Once he'll come to know about all the mystery only then veer ka real character sketch reveal hoga. Right now I'm loving this unpredictable VEER❤️

Veer is the best character of N5. He has many shades some are revealed but some have to unfolded in future.

We have seen his passion, love, emotions, gussa, light side, his innocence, his smartness, his hatred for jay. One thing is clear about Veer that jab jo bhi karta hai porey dil sy karta hai like he said in mehndi episode. Jab veer kisi sy pyar karta hai tu pori shidat sy karta hai aur jab nafrat karta hai tu wo bhi pori shidat sy. I think so we will get role reveal track in future.
