Omg just by reading all those sanskari stuff of 20 year back era,make me realised that my anupre ema is holier than ganga jal.

What an era that was.thank god I did not had to watch such stuff.

I thought anupre r the only couple whom ekta played so badly.But no 20 year back,she was much more worse.

Ekta just wanted to make K soaps those days🤣. But she discovered some of the most talented actors.

Yes that era was cheap with multiple marriages n one night stands.Be happy that though anupre got married to BajLika there was no one night stand.After PR only in KZK2 she showed multiple marriage only to bcz she needed to follow kzk2 story line

I heard that ekta used to make progressive shows that time.strange.Though I know expecting ekta to make something real and progressive is like sun rise in the west.But when I heard earlier ekta used to make progressive shows in forum only.i was shocked.And I didn't watch any show.so I thought may be.

But now I guess I was right.whether its 20 year back or now.ekta is same.Only difference is now fans can't tolerate multiple marriage of leads no matter what.

Best example is kzk only.Where forced blackmaled marriage was rejected by audience and ekta forced to change track overnight

Those times not only ekta all others showed multiple marriages.Ekta has taken good shows too.but very rare.Yes now ppl cant tolerate multiple marriages n ONS.so ekta also stopped showing it

Only ekta show I found progressive was Kzk 1 and Yhm. In kzk1 it was kind of Prerna moving on from her miseries associated with Anurag1 when she married Bajaj for 2nd time. I think Anurag1 had the record of having physical relationship🤣 with 4 woman(Komo ,Pre, Aparna, sampada). Then YHM where Raman and ishitha married to each other in whole show. Raman had three children( 1 surrogate IshRas child) from one woman (shagun) and raised by another woman (Ishita). They were ideal as parents and couple. These were shows of ekta I loved personally. But Ekta made some really bold shows 20 years back

Earlier BT shows had always had an element of some form of progress and maybe journey to begin with. Later it all tanked , that’s another story. The biggest problem with KZK 2 was this crazy story of people not moving on! People move on in real life and did so in EK shows back too. They might find their way back but at one point they did move on because they had self-respect. The females were defiant and didn’t take things lying! Forget EKta, one had to see Wadhwa production house Kumkum!

You should have seen the way Kumkum bashes this man Sumit left right and centre after he just did something in the spur of the moment.

Those taunts are still fresh in my mind. She just was so angry, the same woman who used to fawn over him always, just gave it so badly.
In fact, I remember that she was so progressive that at one point, she even took care of her husband’s ex-fiancé because she had usurped her rights. She was apologetic when needed, fierce when required.

Ekta’s heroines were always the heroes of her shows! Apart from Pavitra Rishta’s Archana Ekta’s women were so fiesty and driven towards their careers and parents that nothing else mattered to them.

I wonder how did she manage to create this Grovelling Prerna and Even more strange Anurag!!!

EKta has the habit of recycling her shit but lol, she should have spared KZK.
I find non-moving leads problematic.

Once upon a time, there used to be shows where even home breakers had a story and sympathy. Relationships were complicated! Now, offscreen Drama kills shows.

She didnt show any ema. She showed multiple marriages. Specially marriages for revenge or marriage under majboori (which she kept showing till date) and her next best track was to kill one of the leads..make them disappear then appear wth a new partner and child...make the leads marry diff people and bk again was also common....her fav track was to establish a love hate relationship between the leads . The leads may have multiple children but they were not illegit. Means the marriages were also real, the revenge was real, divorce was real ..ultimately all serials went that way but " initially " , the popular ones were good , different and progressive.

So in short whether 20 year back or now, marriage is the solution for majboori, sacrifice,revenge or any damn reason except for 2 two people want to be with eachother.

All these reasons for marriage is not an insult to the institution of marriage.And moreover after all these,I m sure most common dialogue must be whatever be the reason,it's marriage with few ritual and all (absolutely ignoring the substance for marriage).

I still can't agree to the fact that any of these things r anything but progressive.

Mostly in most of Ektas shows have a heroines who were pinning for their abusive partner even when they have multiple marriages , Emas , illegitimate kids ,abuse etc. And Prerna1 was a rare species. She worked and raised a kid alone. Fell in love with another man and moved on in life and married him and lived a fullfilling life . Even Bajaj confessed everything before marriage . It was Prernas blind love on Bajaj which made her not to believe it. He changed that much for Prerna . Even when she knew about Madhavi and kid Pre filed for divorce. But she couldn't let him go because more than cheating she saw his hurt when it happened. Lol Bajaj was not against and angry that Pre was helping Anu . he was hurt that she did all these with out informing him.
