Haan, BARC is more important. But it includes impressions (including advertisements during breaks) but the PH wants the actual avg data which is the raw trp. Actually ye poora calculation bohat tricky hai, Salil posts the raw trp on twitter, not the BARC one. You don’t understand, Maha episodes of other shows are one hour long so it understandable why their ratings did not jump much, but for Naagin the episodes were 2 hours long. And that even for both the days so total 4 hours which is like two weeks worth of episodes. Judging by that the increase is very less by Naagin standards. That’s why it’s worrying. Because has usually outdone IPL in earlier years.
The duration of the mahaepisodes was 1 hour 30 minutes, not two hours. This season is doing good in terms of concept, story & acting. The editing & vfx still needs improvement. The overall situation isn't too good as well as few members from the team of the show have been affected by the virus. No two seasons should be compared IMO. I'm sure they have the contract in place, and will show the exact number of episodes that they have planned for. A lot of viewers are watching the show online, hence the trp doesn't look that impressive. IPL ends next month so hopefully after that TRP increases too, this time it started earlier, usually naagin starts november pe after IPL i think so they'll excuse low trp's from all shows i'm guessing because of IPL
