And that was never the point. You are thinking criticism of celebs using threats to sheild themselves from any sort criticism is same as normalising threats.

yes it is.......when you are giving excuses for it....you are indirectly normalizing it....

So if tomm Dhoni disables the comments on his insta.....you will say he disabled it because he didn't want to listen to the criticism about his performance....it doesn't matter if his 5 year old girl is receiving threats.....right??

No it is a version of saying, "just because it happens, girls shouldn't be closed behind the doors, kill them, not restrict the girls".

Her team is using the threats which have been part of her comments since ages, now people her and her PR team believes it is the best way to gain some sympathy because of the huge negativity that is surrounding her.

And sorry it isn't the first time such things have happened, everytime some celeb says or does something or part of controversy they use this tactic, and go on about "oh I got threats, hence I closed it"

If you believe that is somehow equivalent to normalising or justifying threats, you are being silly.

You are justifying rape threats

You are telling people that it is "normal" and if you see no problem with the mentality which can make people think about dominating or showing hatred in form of rape then I have no words for you

It is not normal and it shouldn't happen to even the worst human being on planet earth and if Alia or any other girl doesn't like receiving rape threats they have every right to call people out.

The fact that you are speaking against people at the receiving end and defending people who issue rape threats is sickening
