There's no doubt Riya's parents knew abt her answer or decision frm d time they had given a thought 2 this proposal. Earlier too they were sure their daughter would b happy after marriage to Arjun bt it hadn't turned out 2 what they thought. So this time it was definitely a more tough decision for all of them, than earlier. A subtle conversation b/w father-daughter would not only made a father sure of his daughter's decision but somewhere he could also knew her thought process that led her to take that decision, which would not only help him to judge that whether his daughter was right or wrong in her decision-making but could also provide him(father) a vision that would have lessen their(both parents) doubts abt Arjun.

In simple words it would enhance or highlight Riya's beautiful bonding with their parents which was last highlighted when she managed to agree them for Sam-Ayesha marriage, because all other scenes of thm, included all family members where SamRiya bonding overrode (Riya+Parents) bonding.

Jo Arjun ke sabse kareeb the, jinhone uspe sabse zyada vishwaas kiya, usne unn logo ke vishwas tod diya & today when d same people were still doubtful abt Arjun, then out of nowhere Ayesha was showing more faith in him, kuch zama nahi, specially when she personally don't know Arjun more than those people & Riya is more closer to her. Also being an officer, logically toh usse doubtful hona chahiye tha sab kuch janne-sunne k baad, toh yeh uske personality ke saath bhi nahi jaata hain.

"But she don't held them responsible for what he did in past..she just wanted Riya's parents to take account of riya's opinion before fixing or rejecting the things..."

Ok maybe she didn't mean it, but in her pov Arjun's parents were wrong & the way she gave d example somewhere it seemed like indicating whatever happened in past, it all started with Arjun's parents action of chosing Riya for Arjun(towards d end of her dialogues- "unhone yahi socha tha ki Arjun sir k liye Riya perfect hai...lekin aage kya hua yeh sab jante hai"), which was wrong in my view.

Sorry, par Suryakant aur Naina ke dwara Arjun ke liye Riya ko hamsafar chunne ko shaadi fix karna nahi keh sakte. It was just called 'opinion/choice of parents' not fixing of marriage. Jo Arjun ke parents ne kiya woh 'Fixing of Marriage' tab kehlata agar woh iss baare mein Riya ke parents se pehle hi baat kar chuke hote aur Arjun-Riya ko baad mein inform karte par aisa kuch nahi hua tha. Surya-Naina ne pehle Arjun se yeh baat kahi aur uske haan kehne par hi rishta lekar Riya ke ghar gaye the, halaki Arjun ne yeh baat sam ko pehle hi bata di thi aur Sam ne Riya ko.

◆Roshni's parents:

"Ha tum ye keh sakhti ho ke arjun ne kabhi usse nahi bola ya mafi nahi mangi..ya jab bhi usane aisa kuch kehne ki koshish ki riya ne usse rok diya bolke ke usaki koi galati nahi..

But ye nahi he ke usse ye nahi pata ke Sam ,riya n parents ne kitna suffer kiya he..he knows that n he had always been guilty for it..though he had not actually plead for forgiveness but is sorry by all his heart.."

~Its always clear that Arjun is guilty of hurting Riya, breaking promises, dreams & expectations of everyone closed to him & proving his parents upbringing wrong.

~In case of Riya & Sam, Arjun had witnessed d condition of Riya after revealing truth, also just after ArNi marriage & after returning frm his honeymoon, also he knew abt her attempt of suicide. He was also shown going through realisations that he was nvr a good understanding partner for Riya, so yes, in this case, I completely agree with u that he is both guilty & sorry abt the past.

~Coming to case of Riya's parents, it was natural they were hurt after what had happened, so anyone who knew abt Ariya's divorce could guess abt their situation & Arjun also knew that much only may b a little more, but not to the extent, which he should knew about. In the updates, Arjun ne kabhi unhe uss dard mein dekha hi nahi, unke dard ki gehrayi ko samjha hi nahi, na hi kabhi unki halato ko dekh bura mehsoos kiya, phir yeh kehna ki Arjun ko sahi maine mein pata hain unke dard ke baare mein shayad sahi nahi hoga. When he hadn't gone through above mentioned, then going through any kind of realisations doesn't seems possible and when someone hadn't realised, then feeling guilty & sorry for that looks so far. So, sorry but I can't agree with ur words in this case until u show him(in updates) coming to know abt their painful days somehow & what they had to listen from other people because of his actions

~It was really surprising for me when u showed Arjun directly making moves towards ArIya marriage proposal b4 asking for their forgiveness or apologising them 4 past. Once he decided in mind to ask for Riya's forgiveness first then would go for Sam with full determination but after one or two failed attempt he never tried. Afterthat his words felt hollow. This was d reason why I felt like mujhe tumpar tumse zyada doubts hai when he said he had doubts on himself during ArIya talk(6th update, season 4). He is a character, shown very much attached to both Sam & Riya since his approaching adulthood days, he nvr wanted to do anything for his own happiness which would hurt anyone's heart or at d cost of his friendship but eventually did that. Even after realisations & being so much in guilt he nvr tried another time to say sorry 2 them, what is stopping him..🤔Yun toh woh apna dukh, apna guilt sab kuch express kar deta hai unse, yaha tak kabhi-kabhi unhe lecture bhi de deta h par unko sorry nahi bol sakta... I don't know what r ur plans but I don't think Arjun can behave free & normal like earlier (b4 ArNi marriage) with SamRiya until & unless he is free from that heaviness of guilt.

A small & nice talk of Rathod family😳Good to see Masa being true to her emotions b4 Riya and it seems she is not going change her mind abt Arjun until she witnesses her daughter being happy with him in her marital life. Liked Ayesha-Riya's bonding in those small scenes❤️

Its great that both ArIya openly talked abt pyaar's place in their marriage & abt Roshni's parents👏Good to see that they were talking abt themselves & their relationship, even if leaving it in mid atleast they r raising & having a convo on these topics. Also this time they don't need a mediator between them, which he hadn't liked once & expressed same to her, hope this directly approaching each other thing, continues after their marriage too. It would be nice if Arjun correctly completes their talk which she left in mid before she tells him.
