And socha jaye toh cheating karke they end up ruining the rest of their career. They get suspended or even expelled over such things, they get recognized for it, and people don't want to hire such people. In fact I heard of a story of a person who was recognized as a cheater and the news spread in the industry and he basically got blacklisted.

People just dont understand that taking an easy route if its wrong then it will surely not do them good on personal level as it wont be about testing their knowledge..

And then it will as you said professionally ruin them...

They just dont listen
